Asyouwillhavenoticed,repairandredecorationworkhas begun!Theentranceisthefirstareatoundergorenovation. We’relookingforwardtothemodernizationandgeneral sprucingupofanoften-ignoredarea.
Whilethisistakingplace,bedroomswillbeworkedonasthey becomevacant.Thehomewillbefreshenedandbrightened up.Thiswillbeabigprojectsopleasebepatientwithus duringthisprocess.
BUSY-NESS
Therehasbeenagreatdealofworkgoingonbehindthe sceneswhichwillchangethewayweinvoice,schedulestaff, andmaintainrecordsoftheresidentsandthepeoplethat havebeennominatedastheircontacts.
Whilechangecanbestressfulandtime-consuming,these newsystemswillhelpuscoordinateandstreamlinetheway wedothingsandtheserviceswe provide.Wearehopefulthatthe newprogramwillallowustoemail and/ortextyou.Thinkofthat!No moremissedcallsormissing announcementspostedon Facebook.

On 8 May, the residents celebrated the life and work of Sir Richard Attenborough on his 100th birthday with nature and animal related games, puzzles, and art.

Onebright,sunnyafternoon thestaffdecidedtoescorta groupofresidentsona surpriseoutingandtookawalk downTamariskWaytothe SunspotBusinessCentrehere inJaywick.
ThegroupvisitedRainyBakes (ownedandoperatedby LorraineWildes,whousedtobe acookhereatCornerLodge). Whilethere,everyonetookthe opportunitytosamplethe treatsLorrainehasonoffer whileenjoyingtheseaview.
Everyonelovesaspotof afternoontea.It’smorethan justacuppa,it’sanoccasion: thepatternedchina,the tinklingoftheteaspoonasit hitsthesideofthecup,the nibblesonthecakestand.It’s ceremonyandatimehonouredBritishtradition.
It’stimetopause,castaside theday’sworriesandjustlet theuniversebe,toenjoythe experience,thewarmthofthe tea,thecompanionshipof thosegatheredwithyou.
Chariceplansafternoonteas asoftenaspossibleasthe residentslookforwardto thesespecialmoments.
TRISHAW UPDATE
We’ve received some good news. At first, Con thought that the electrical motor would have to be sent to Europe to be repaired. However, after a bit of good fortune, a repair shop was found in Hampshire.
We are hoping to be back on the road soon. We’ll update you on Facebook when we have confirmed dates.
