Happy New Year! It was an incredible year as we marked our 35th anniversary year with a series of special programs culminating with a festive cocktail reception in November. While we loved looking back at past programs and traditions, it was equally exciting to look ahead. I know I speak for the entire staff when I say we were thrilled to unveil a new look to the Big Red Tap & Grill. It was also a year to welcome prestigious new clubs to our reciprocal club network. Coming up in the year ahead you’ll see exciting new updates to the website, even more clubs added to our ever growing network, and the start of a fresh new look to our guest rooms. To all who joined in 2025–welcome! It’s a great time to be a member of The Club. Wishing everyone a very happy start to the new year! Regards, Craig Lasnier

News from Norm, Director of Health & Fitness
This new year, choose one or two realistic, motivating fitness targets for the coming months—maybe improving endurance, increasing strength, or establishing a daily movement habit—and let that carry momentum through the new year. Take those meaningful steps that keep you feeling strong, energized, and ready for what’s ahead. The Cornell fitness staff can help achieve your goals.
The Race to Ithaca! We had a blast bringing the Virtual Race back to The Club! Held in the Health & Fitness Center, members took part in a friendly competition featuring a simulated 28-leg race to Ithaca. We wrapped up with an awards dinner in November, and now we’re gearing up for the winter edition. Stay tuned for round two of the Virtual Race to Ithaca!
*A health & fitness membership is included with club membership.
Website Updates Coming Spring 2026! We’re excited to launch some updates to our website in spring 2026! We’re excited to share an early look at some updates to the reciprocal club page. Users can now view each club with ease along with a photo, brief club bio and any limitations on usage imposed by the host club. As always, members are asked to send a letter of introduction with a quick visit to the memberside of the website.
Set the bar high this new year! 2026 is the year you will impress your guests! Contact Danielle at D.Salera@cornellclubnyc.com or 212.692.1376 for more information on availability, pricing, and menus.
