Club Corner A Message from the General Manager We love rolling up our sleeves and taking on new projects that enhance your member experience. Fall 2019: We introduced a bright new look to the Cayuga Room, along with the addition of the Cayuga Lounge. Summer 2023: We refreshed our meeting and event spaces with new flooring and window treatments. Fall 2025: We introduced a newly remodeled Big Red Tap & Grill! A longtime favorite spot, the redesign included enhancements to the bar area, new lighting and tables, and larger televisions. Spring 2026: On the communications side, we introduced a new look to the weekly e-newsletter and moved the Bear Facts to a digital flipbook format. With three new pages recently added to the website, we’re also in the early stages of a complete redesign of the Club website and The Club’s app. Now, we turn our attention to our 48 overnight guest rooms. This fiscal year, we’ll begin enhancements to these spaces, including new window treatments and thoughtful touches designed to brighten and elevate your stay. It’s an exciting time at The Club, and we look forward to continuing to find new ways to enhance the experience for you and your guests.

New Member Handbook We invite all new members to review their digital new member handbook for more information about membership offerings, log in assistance, and step by step instructions on how to use different areas of The Club.

Meet Papa Faty

food and beverage manager

Many of you will remember Papa from his time as the Cayuga Room’s Dining Captain. His welcoming demeanor, coupled with his exceptional knowledge of wine pairings and specialty cocktails, made him a true member favorite. We were thrilled to welcome Papa back to The Club as our Food & Beverage Manager in the fall of 2025. What stands out from your first year back at The Club? Is there a moment or memory that has been especially meaningful? First would have to be starting in my new position as we reopened the Tap & Grill with a stunning new look. Second would have to be the summer of sports! Hosting Knick’s watch parties was a blast and it was such a festive atmosphere as we welcomed members from around the world for the World Cup. Our cocktail list is a firm favorite with members. What are your favorites that you encourage members to order? Our F&B team enjoys experimenting so it’s hard to select just one. There are many that come to mind but I’ll pick two. The Lavender Lemon Drop and the Don Pancho Old Fashioned. Fall menus will be here soon. What are you most excited about? We’re offering a new pre-theatre dinner menu in the Cayuga room! Which upcoming tasting menu stands out as one that you are eager for members to attend? The “Where we Began” dinner on April 23rd. The dinner will showcase the culinary traditions found throughout Africa. The flavors of Africa pull from so many cultures and influence from Europe all the way to Asia. It will be a wonderful night in the Cayuga Room! How can Members enhance their dining experience? The Cayuga Lounge offers the ideal location for a pre-theatre cocktail or post dinner drink.
