Rosemary Mihindukulasuriya ‘22 had her digital drawing, “Justice and Charity,” selected to represent the Archdiocese of Saint Louis in the national Catholic Campaign for Human Development

“Creating on the Margins” Art Contest in the 10th12th grade category.

169 students participated in the Corporate Partners Initiative’s “Zoom into Your Future” career exploration events.

Margaret Mathis ‘21 was CJA’s recipient of the Archbishop John L. May Service Award.

Elizabeth Lorson ‘21 was awarded the Sr. Anita Marie Giampetro Service Award, named after Cor Jesu’s founding principal.

Emily Pozzo ‘21 earned the Clelian Award, the highest award given to a graduating senior, bestowed in honor of Blessed Clelia Merloni.

Mary Morgan ‘23 earned 3rd place recognition in the annual Serra Club High School Vocation Essay Contest.

Service

Genevieve Broyles ‘22 made 80 two-layer reversible and adjustable cloth masks for the YWCA of St. Louis.

Collected 545 jars of peanut butter and jelly for Caritas Connections, INC.

Cor Jesu's choir sang Christmas carols, outside, masked and socially distant at 2 senior living centers.

1,681 donations collected for the Affton Christian Food Pantry during the NHS Spring Food Drive

Isabel Lee ‘21 was CJA’s recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Model of Justice Award.

CJA and St. Joseph’s Academy collected 5,618 pairs of socks, underwear and sports bras for St. Patrick Center during Funderwear 2021.

Raised $19,552 for charity during Penny Queen Week

Amy Varghese ‘22 earned the Youth Humanitarian Award from Youth in Action in Kirkwood.
