PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE As I pen this letter, some of you still have sand stubbornly stuck to the bottom of your feet while the smell of Coppertone floats in the breeze. Or, perhaps you made your way to Iceland or Montana for your summer holiday and are still adjusting to hometown time zones. However you decided to recharge, the wave of relaxation is getting ready to crest as we prepare for the rush of our September season of calendar management and exciting opportunities to connect. Not only will kids be going back to school, but the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global has a host of educational programs planned by our Professional Development/Education Committee on the docket to keep our members, dedicated to life-long learning, engaged in soft skills training, practical skills training, the anatomy of the CRE Industry Life Cycle, and more. On September 10th, we will be recognizing our sponsors with a special appreciation event to be held at the 200 Club, a BXP Property located at 200 Clarendon Street. We’ll be celebrating “La Dolce Vita – Zest for Life” and encourage you to express your best zest in your dress for the evening. Please welcome our newest Chapter sponsors, Ropes & Gray, Toast, Wayfair Professional, AMCON, Gilbane, and Red Thread. You don’t have to be a golfer to play in our 25th Anniversary Tournament, but it does help if you play by the rules and observe the protocols of the game. I highly recommend Harvey Penick’s

CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE
Little Red Book: Lessons and Teachings from a Lifetime in Golf, loads of just plain old good advice. We’ll be at Pine Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA on October 7, 2026. It’s an event you will not want to miss. We still have one Reception Sponsor offering at $6,000., one Carts & Keepsakes Sponsorship offering at $6000, and one Lunch Sponsorship offering for the Nicklaus Course at $5,000. Please reach out to Todd Burtch for more information at: todd.burtch@jll.com. I am excited to see everyone back in person at one of our events soon and to catch up on all that’s happened since we saw one another last. Boston remains resilient, supported by recent happenings, including the rejection of the statewide rent control ballot measure resulting in multi-family development revival. Boston office availability has dropped to 23.6% according to CBRE, with legal, financial and tech supporting the absorption. The Life Science market has also made a dent in the huge local supply that we had built up. There is much to look forward to as we enter fall. Thank you for bringing your excitement and energy to our Chapter. With Appreciation,
Jackie Falla President | CoreNet Global - New England Chapter Client Relations Director | AMCON
In May, our Chapter congratulated the winners of the 2026 Awards of Excellence, as well as the graduates of the Leadership 2.0 and the George M. Conti Young Leaders Professional Development Programs. From the ceremony at the New England Aquarium to the after-party at The Palm, it was a night of celebration and camaraderie. In addition to our winners listed below, Denise Pied of Northstar Project & Real Estate Services received the President’s Award, and Bain’s new HQ was voted our inaugural People’s Choice Award winner. Congratulations to all!
DEI COMMITTEE This summer, the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global's DEI Committee, in partnership with CREST, brought together 15 CoreNet NE members and CREST interns for a mentorship experience centered on connection, access, and opportunity. From office tours and coffee conversations to networking events, resume reviews, and candid career advice, mentors gave interns something that can’t always be learned in the classroom: a firsthand look at the people, possibilities, and pathways within corporate real estate. The connections don’t end with the summer. The New England Chapter of CoreNet Global has provided CREST interns with complimentary student memberships through December 2027, creating opportunities to stay engaged, grow their networks, and continue building their place within the industry. Thank you to our 2026 mentors for opening doors, sharing your experiences, and investing in the next generation. Together, we’re building a stronger and more inclusive future for corporate real estate.
MEMBERSHIP The Membership Committee has had an active and rewarding summer focused on helping members build meaningful connections throughout the CoreNet Global - New England Chapter community. In addition to welcoming new and returning members, we've continued to create opportunities for networking in both formal and informal settings. This season, members gathered for the Sunset Social Cruise with IIDANE, while our pre-event meetups before Chapter programs have become a great way for attendees to connect before the main event begins. We've also continued our quarterly Virtual Coffee Chats, providing a casual forum for new, prospective, and longtime members to meet one another, exchange ideas, and learn more about getting involved with the Chapter. As we head into the fall, we're excited to continue building on this momentum with more opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow our vibrant membership community. Whether you've been a member for years or recently joined, we encourage you to introduce yourself at an upcoming event—we'd love to connect.
