Our Team

After finishing university and meeting with a recruiter to explore her career options, Sharlene joined COREcruitment in London A few years later, Sharlene made the leap to our North American office What began as a one-year adventure in Canada quickly turned into a long-term stay, with the country becoming her new home Now, after several successful years abroad, Sharlene is returning to her roots in New Zealand, where she launched our Asia-Pacific & Oceania offices. Energetic by nature and never one to sit still for long, Sharlene thrives on the dynamic nature of her role. She enjoys connecting with candidates from around the globe, each at different stages in their careers and lives. She specialises in Head Office and C-suite level recruitment for the service industry clients, covering roles in Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

With over a decade of experience in the recruitment industry, spanning multiple sectors and international markets, Taila brings a truly global perspective to her role as Head of APAC recruitment. Her deep understanding of diverse hiring landscapes, combined with a passion for building strong client and candidate relationships, have been instrumental in driving success across the region. She specialises in Head Office and C-suite level recruitment for the service industry, covering roles in Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, FMCG, Operations, all management levels and Executive Leadership.

In addition to our Head Office in London, we have strategically expanded our footprint across the UK with the establishment of a regional hub in Bristol. Our global presence was solidified through the development of international operations, with key hubs in North America (Canada) and Europe (France and The Netherlands), serving as central points for local and regional recruitment. Currently, we have over 50 expert consultants who are actively engaged with over 200 businesses across the UK, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, while also developing strong partnerships throughout Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and the Far East.
