After 500 Years New Law Could Make Mexico’s Matadors A Thing Of The Past
The heated debate over whether Mexico City should ban the centuries-old sport of bullfighting picked up steam over the weekend as this season’s bullfights came to an end. Activists were pictured outside the city’s arena Sunday - as has become routine - holding signs with photos of mutilated bulls that read, ‘Torture is not Culture’ and burning bullfighting capes. Last year, the assembly’s Animal Welfare Commission gave preliminary approval to a law banning public events ‘at which animals are subject to mistreatment and cruelty that result in their death.’ But the bill never made it to a vote before the full assembly.
Upside-down House Drawing In Tourists In Colombia
Tourists are head over heels for this new attraction. An upside-down two-storey house, complete with a red topsy-turvy car parked in the driveway, has been built in the Colombian town of Guatavita, a short distance from the capital of Bogota. Inside the house, known as Casa Loca, visitors walk on ceilings where floors would normally be, while furniture is positioned above them. The imaginative property was designed by its Austrian owner, Fritz Schall, who lives in Colombia with his family. Inspiration for building the house came from a trip to Schall’s native Austria with his grandchildren in 2015, where they saw a similar house.

Novak Djokovic Makes Winning Return In The First Match For Over Two Months
Novak Djokovic had been around the world in the eighty days since he last played a competitive tennis match. Yet all that happened in that time, including his deportation from Australia, did not appear to have upset the international citizenry of Dubai when he returned to action. Having routinely dispatched Italian teenager Lorenzo Musetti 6-3 6-3 to make the second round of the Dubai Duty Free Championships, some of them even formed a tunnel of love for him. A crowd of several hundred gave the 34-year-old Serb an adoring guard of honor as he made his way back from the stadium to the player garden immediately afterward.

European Space Agency’s Solar Orbiter Captures A Huge Eruption From The Sun
A huge eruption from the sun has been caught on camera by the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Solar Orbiter probe. It is the largest such eruption ever observed in a single image with the full solar disc in shot, according to ESA. The burst of radiation erupted from the side of the Sun facing away from Earth and extended millions of miles into space. Solar eruptions, or prominences, are large structures of tangled magnetic field lines that keep dense concentrations of solar plasma suspended above the Sun’s surface, sometimes taking the form of arching loops. They are often associated with coronal mass ejections, which if directed towards Earth, can wreak havoc with our technology.
Third Of Younger Investors Would Rather Buy Crypto Than Invest In A Pension
A third of 18 to 24-year-olds would invest in crypto rather than save in a pension - but some experts warn they are ‘gambling’ with their futures. Among young men, the figure putting crypto over a pension climbs to almost half, while for women it is just over a quarter, according to the survey by money management app W1TTY. The W1TTY report surveyed 2,000 members of Gen Z in the UK on their financial habits and attitudes towards savings and investments. A further 30 per cent of 18-24-yearolds - the age group known as Generation Z - said they were not sure if they would rather invest in cryptocurrency than a pension.
