Boston Artist Residency

East Boston, MA | Fall 2020

The focus for this project was the design of medium-density multi-unit housing that can help address East Boston’s pressing need for housing that is affordable. A related goal was to incorporate public spaces and community resources that serve the residents and enhance the surrounding neighborhood. The primary target for East Boston was the residential artists. By housing both artist and non-artists alike, the project aimed to bring together a strong community through not only the art, but culture.
