New photo competition for garden lovers

Handler Laurie Cattanach said his dog Buddy has helped him with his disability, chronic pain and anger issues.

Shaun said the experience has been life changing.

“Blaze is amazing and does everything for me and he has allowedenabled me to go to the shops and I’ll leave the house and travel.

“I can’t put into words how amazing this experience has been for me. The dog is amazing, but it is also being part of the pack and everyone else in here – you draw inspiration from them,” Shaun said.

THE Friends of Noosa Botanic Gardens have come up with a new competition for garden lovers – a chance for their photo to be included in a calendar for 2024 which will go on sale and credit the work of each entry.

Visitors to the gardens can capture a special shot and send it to events@ noosabotanicgardensfriends.com before 15 August to be considered for inclusion.

Photos should not feature people and must be in JPG or TIF format and landscape style.

Winners will be advised in September.
