PUMPING out the fantastic entertainment on at the 105th “Celebration of Noosa Shire” Noosa Country Show! Headlining is the Rock and Roll Outlaw Angry Anderson with an allstar band consisting of some Party Boys and Mondo Rock bassist Paul Christie on Friday 12th September at 6.30pm followed by K. C. Fireworks Spectacular lighting up the sky which always amazes the kids and adults alike. Filling the 2 stages, main arena and circuit are over 30 acts including bands, dance, theatre, kid’s stage shows, face painting, Australian Goldminer, Animal Nursery with Sheep Shearing, Snake and Reptile Shows, Bucking Bull, Laser Attack, Honky Tonk Rodeo and Monster Trucks! All followed up on Saturday night, 13th September, after the rodeo are popular local party band Smokin’ Mirrors with a Burlesque Show. Apart from all the wonderful displays of local talent in the Pavilion with Creative Craft, Wood Craft, Cookery, Horticulture, Fruit and Vegetables are the fabulous efforts of all the Junior Art from local Schools, Noosa Food and Wine tastings will be special with delicacies from Berado’s and Dingo Creek Winery on Saturday. A Creative Cultural Hub has been established with Demos by Sammy Ray Jones, Keith Gall, Lyn Fraser Roberts, Grant “Tank” Shaw. FREE workshops galore! Booking taken from website links, weaving - Rene Bahloo, Kilargi and Mimburi with Beverly Hand and Bianca Bond, painting with Leigh Hooker, Lyn Fraser Roberts, Lynda Black, crafty making - Deb Baker and Aimee Stanyer, Kids Clay Play with Gail & Faith Robinson, yarning circles and sharing culture with Mimburi and Luke Barrowcliffe and Rachel Lyons representing Wildcare Australia. More local talent abounds in the ‘Squash Courts Building’ with Photography and our new look 2014 Art Exhibition, stewarded by well known Sandra

Fox-Spencer and “Celebrates the Noosa Shire” with 3 concepts all depicting “Noosa”. Opening Night is 6pm to 8pm, Thursday 11th September where you may be able to pick up a bargain and purchase any of the works. A $1500 painting donated by Lyn Fraser Roberts is to be won at the Show. Not to be missed! Local Musicians are playing live in the Photography and Art Exhibition over both days, the atmosphere is going to be magic! Animals, animals, animals! The Main Arena will be alive with a bigger, better horse competition with Show Jumping, Show Hunters, Hacks of various sizes, all the Breeds following Friday morning from 8am are the Heavy Horses and new Harness Classes. They will be a part of a bigger Grand Parade on each day at 1.30pm. Dairy and Stud Beef Cattle over 2 days, Dogs will be next to the tennis courts where on Saturday you can ‘have a go’ at the Tennis Expo and watch some action at the Woodchop Arena. You might even see some Alpacas on your travels. Side Show Alley will be full of thrills and amusements with Shockwave and all the fun of the fair. Try to win the latest at the Shooting Gallery or Pluck a Duck and brave the Haunted House and Ghost Train. Don’t forget to get your Showbags! Over 75 trade stalls will be on show from tasty snacks to a new car! You might even see a TV Personality! A 2 day, Family Pass is only $45 so you can see everything or for 1 day it is only $35. Real value for money! The biggest Noosa Country Show is at the Pomona Showgrounds, Friday (local show holiday) 12th, and Saturday 13th of September. So come join the party!
