Members vote yes to GemLife development

COOROY Golf Club members have cast their vote about the proposed GemLife development.

Cooroy Golf Club finance director Rod Booth said members voted to support the development application at a special general meeting last month and authorised the management committee to enter into a formal agreement with GemLife on terms the committee consider appropriate.

“At the meeting, 91 members voted for it, and 39 against it. The outcome was not surprising as there has consistently been majority support from members for the project at information sessions and previous special general meetings.”
