A new, contemporary way of caring for elderly dementia patients and those requiring palliative treatment will be provided at a 52-bed ‘care farm’ proposed by Lutheran Services on a 24ha site at Black Mountain, creating 80 jobs for locals. Lutheran Services has conducted meetings with Noosa Council and briefed two community groups about the concept as part of its public consultation obligations.  Continued page 2
