Design plays a key role in creating vibrant areas that contribute to a city’s sense of place. We know that each city in Tennessee has a unique feel and style that separates it from the other—from the urban wilderness of Knoxville, to the sprawling combination of city and suburb in Nashville, to the
retro-inspired Memphis, right on the banks of the Mississippi. We are attuned to these subtle changes that define a space, and we translate that with intention into what the customer first sees, first touches, first smells, and first hears in the spaces we create. We consider common paths, how visitors will enter or leave the space, and how that space interacts with the drama of the street. Great care must be given to the entire public realm to make certain it is seamless, interesting, and safe.
