HISTORIC REHABILITATION AND ADAPTIVE REUSE

The most sustainable building is the one that already exists – and that is just one of the many reasons our clients choose reuse. Historically significant buildings can connect people to place and past to present.

We believe that all buildings have a story to be revealed. This is why we celebrate their historic character and strive to ensure their continuing relevance and contribution to the community. Rehabilitation and adaptive reuse design requires sensitivity to a place’s cultural context as well as experience with the technical challenges that come with working in an existing building.
