THE CCC WAY
Welcome to the family You’ll never walk alone We are proud to be embedding The Liverpool Way into our football curriculum from Prep through to Year 10. This is more than a program - it is a living partnership grounded in shared purpose, aligned values, and a deep commitment to developing character through team sport.
Team sport, particularly football, brings this truth to life each day. It reminds us that teammates stand beside us, that we belong to something greater than ourselves, and that both success and adversity are shared. It builds trust—in one another and in those who lead.
This initiative is being delivered by our own CCC coaches and staff—people our students and families already know, trust, and respect. Having undertaken training in The Liverpool Way, they are ensuring that what happens on the pitch reflects and reinforces what happens in our classrooms and across our wider College community. This is not an external program; it is something we are actively living and breathing here at CCC.
Through this program, we are seeing our students grow not only as footballers, but as whole people - young men and women marked by character, faith, resilience, and humility. They are learning to serve one another, to lift each other up, to respond with courage in adversity, and to pursue excellence in all they do.
As we engage with Liverpool FC International Academy, we see a club defined by ambition, passion, integrity, and unity - qualities that strongly align with our College. At the heart of this identity is their anthem: “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” For us, these words carry meaning far beyond football. As a Christian community, we live in the truth that we do not walk alone. In Jesus, we have a Saviour and a constant companion - one who walks with us in moments of joy and celebration, and also through challenge, disappointment, and struggle. We are known, supported, and deeply loved.
This partnership represents a significant step forward for Cooloola Christian College, and we are excited about what is already unfolding. As we walk this journey together, it is our hope that every student - from Prep to Year 10 - experiences this truth, both on and off the field: You’ll never walk alone.

What makes a great teammate?
Answer: Consistency over intensity. It’s better to train well and regularly than to have one great session and then drop off. Consistent habits build confidence, sharpen skills, and develop discipline over time.
Answer: A great teammate is selfless, encouraging, and reliable. They celebrate others, communicate well, and are willing to put the team first.
What has football taught you?
How do you see The Liverpool Way shaping students?
Answer: Football teaches resilience and teamwork. You learn quickly that success doesn’t happen alone, and setbacks are part of the journey. It shapes how you respond to both.
Answer: The Liverpool Way is about more than performance, it’s about who you are. We are seeing students grow in character as they learn to show respect, take responsibility, work hard for others, and stay united. These are qualities that impact their learning, relationships, and the way they carry themselves every day.
What do you love most about coaching?
What advice would you give to young players?
Answer: Seeing growth—both in skill and character. Watching players develop confidence, support each other, and begin to understand the game is incredibly rewarding.
Answer: Work hard, stay humble, and enjoy the game. Listen to your coaches, support your teammates, and remember why you started playing—because you love it.
