O say, can you see, By the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hailed At the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched Were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare, The bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night That our flag was still there.

O say, does that star-spangled Banner yet wave O’er the land of the free And the home of the brave?

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, And to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation under God, indivisible, With liberty and justice for all.

The first day of school can always be scary, whether you have gone to this school before or are brand new.

Here are a few things that can make it a little easier.

How can I prevent bullying?

Don’t fight back. It can be dangerous.

Stay alert when a bully is near. Stick together.

Ignore the bully. Walk away.

Find and tell a parent, teacher or another adult.

Don’t spread rumors. It will make things worse.

What is bullying?

Leaving someone out on purpose.

Threatening to hurt someone.

Deliberately harming another person.

Telling untrue stories about others.
