Another successful Annual Meeting in the books! We want to thank everyone who took the time to attend our 74th Annual Meeting! We especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet new faces and have conversations again after two years of drive-thru meetings. “Once again, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to visit with our members in person this year and I appreciate all of those who were able to attend this year’s meeting,” said General Manager Juli Orme. Over 850 members in attendance each received a $20 bill credit, and we gave away over 40 different prizes including a $500 cash grand prize. We would like to extend a special thank you to our sponsors and partners who helped make this event possible: Gordon Construction Company, KAMO Power and Sallisaw Public Schools. Meter replacements wrapping up for 2022 For the past month or two, our members have likely seen the Anixter Utility Power Solutions company working to replace the existing electric meters for our members receiving power from the Marble City and Akins Substations. Anixter crews will be completing the remaining scheduled replacements for 2022 as early as this November before the project resumes for the Liberty, Muldrow, and Sallisaw Substations in 2023.
