Fiber’s Final Stretch We are happy to announce that our fiber internet project is near completion. Internet and home phone services will be opening to members on our last scheduled substation, Porum, beginning in January. For members on our Porum substation, be watching for emails, postcards, and Facebook posts announcing a date for you to call and schedule installation. For members on all other substations, call our team today at 1-800-328-2368 to sign up for lightning-fast internet! No matter if you live in the city limits or way out in the country, we have you covered.

With Cookson Hills Connect, there are no contracts, no hidden fees, no data limits, and no sudden price increases. We offer multiple package options to fit every budget. Since 1945, Cookson Hills has provided our members with reliable electricity, and adding fiber internet service excites us as we move into the future. We are grateful for our members, employees, and crews who have helped make this dream of offering high-speed internet a reality!

We

Trees, Too.

We know everyone in our community enjoys the beauty and shade trees provide. But trees and power lines can be a dangerous mix without regular trimming during the growing season. If you see us out in the community trimming, remember the many benefits it brings: • Keeps power lines clear of tree limbs • Helps us restore power outages more quickly • Keeps crews and members of our community safe • Reduces unexpected costs for repairs Trimming improves service reliability for you, the members we serve.

Henry Completes Training Congratulations to Cookson Hills Electric Staking Engineer Jordan Henry on successfully completing OAEC’s staking program training.
