Baker and Blalock Volunteer Abroad We want to recognize Jeremy Baker and Jason Blalock for volunteering their time and talents to help provide electricity to less fortunate families in Central and South America. These two and other Oklahoma electric co-op employees worked to build electric infrastructure in Bolivia and Guatemala. Thanks to OAEC for facilitating a special celebration for the volunteer linemen who have served on international electrification projects. Oklahoma’s electric cooperatives and the Oklahoma
Energy Trails Foundation celebrated the completion of five international projects that established nearly 700 first-time connections to electricity. Linemen who participated in the Energy Trails project and co-op guests visited the State Capitol, where the linemen were recognized by the State House of Representatives and State Senate with citations signed by Governor Kevin Stitt and lawmakers. 1735004 We appreciate Jeremy and Jason for making such a difference in the lives of so many!
