Mi deseo, aproximándome a los 80 años, es dejar una organización q s que por tantos años llevamos a cabo, con ayuda de tanta gente, e a intercambio médico-histórico-cultural entre EE UU y la isla Mi querida esposa Marta Pérez de Fiol y yo recién creamos este Fideico l Acto de Inauguración del mismo a llevarse a cabo en Ponce, Puerto Rico el sábado 14 de enero 3 PM. En el acto se discutirá el alcance del Fideicomiso y se hablará de la donación al Fideicomiso de la “Colección Fiol Medico-Historica” para beneficiar la investigación medico científica de futuras generaciones.
Además habrá una charla motivadora por el Dr. Jenaro Abraham de la Universidad Gonzaga... Al empezar la labor de dejar un Fideicomiso o Fundación montada me place reclutarlos a Uds. para que sean parte del esfuerzo y la misión de la misma y apoyen su desarrollo asistiendo al Acto de Inauguración descrito en la tarjeta adjunta...
Nuestros hijos y nietos han tomado el reto y seguirán nuestros pasos y los esfuerzos de una vida en fortalecer nuestra isla y nuestro patrimonio especialmente en Ponce, mi ciudad natal y de mis padres. Les pido su apoyo en la medida que pueda pero mayormente les pido respaldo al Fideicomiso para que continúe su labor patriótica y de ayuda a nuestro pueblo y nuestra gente en la isla y fuera en esas y otras áreas a definirse....
Si pueden asistir a la Inauguración, como descrita en la tarjeta incluida, o verlo por Facebook live en "Ciudad de Ponce" o "Visit Ponce" organismos del Museo Historia de Ponce que coauspicia la inauguración, sería un gran comienzo Sinceramente, Quedamos suyos

At the event, the scope of the Trust will be discussed and the donation to the Trust of the Fiol MedicoHistorical Collection” to benefit the medical-scientific research of future generations will be discussed. There will also be a motivational talk by Dr. Jenaro Abraham from Gonzaga University...
When starting the work of leaving a Trust or Foundation, I am pleased to recruit you to be part of the effort and the mission of it and support its development by attending the Inauguration Ceremony described in the attached card...
Our children and grandchildren have taken up the challenge and will follow in our footsteps and the efforts of a lifetime to strengthen our island and our heritage especially in Ponce, my hometown and my parents'
I ask for your support to the extent that you can but mostly I ask for the Trust's support so that it continues its patriotic work and helps our people and our people on the island and abroad in those and other areas to be defined....
