I want to raise awareness about the struggles that men, especially in the mining industry face. I've seen the devastation that mental health struggles can cause and I don't want people to feel like they are alone or without support.
You can join Alex in raising awareness and funds towards the mental health struggles that people in the mining industry face.

Community Update The Grizzly Valley ATV Club previously had a dedicated staging area for the Hermann ATV Trail at the Quintette quarry along the Murray Forest Service Road. However, with operations resuming at Quintette, the quarry was needed for construction purposes, temporarily displacing the staging area. In recognition of the importance of this space, Conuma Resources committed to reestablishing and enhancing the staging area. They engaged TTAZ Construction for the task, and in an extraordinary show of generosity, TTAZ completed the work by donating both equipment and time. “We extend our heartfelt thanks to TTAZ Construction for being an incredible partner in this project. The newly improved staging area now includes a levelled parking area, a large loading ramp, and a new trail start point, enhancing access and convenience for all ATV enthusiasts.” Tim Croston Grizzly Valley ATV Club
Why Mental Health Matters: Building a Foundation for Well-Being Mental health is the cornerstone of a fulfilling life, influencing how we think, feel, and act. Just like physical health, it requires attention and care to maintain balance and functionality. Yet, it's often overlooked in favour of visible, tangible health concerns. Why Mental Health is as Important as Physical Health Holistic Well-being: Mental health affects every aspect of our lives, from decision-making to managing stress. The Mind-Body Connection: Stress, anxiety, and depression can manifest physically, contributing to conditions like high blood pressure, chronic pain, or weakened immunity. Productivity and Purpose: Mental clarity and emotional stability allow us to perform better at work, school, and in daily tasks. The Ripple Effect of Good Mental Health Stronger Relationships: Mental well-being fosters empathy, effective communication, and the capacity to support others, creating deeper connections. Workplace Success: Employees with good mental health are more engaged, creative, and resilient. Overall Life Satisfaction: Mental wellness enhances our ability to appreciate life's joys, face challenges, and recover from setbacks. Investing in mental health is not just an individual responsibility —it is a societal imperative. By prioritizing mental well-being as much as physical health, we can build stronger, more resilient communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Mackenzie Community Services 250-997-6595
