at the Quintette site, helping operators build the skills oys the work-life balance that comes with her training role at the mine working hard on site, and making the most of her days off with her family and community.
Outside of work, Sheri volunteers her time with the Tumbler Ridge Figure Skating Club and draws daily inspiration from her oldest daughter, Gemma, who is always excelling in sports and activities.
“It reminds me of how I was when I was younger,” Sherri says. “There is no better time than the present to create new habits!”
Recently, Sheri and her family took on the Emperor’s Challenge, using it as a way to get more active, support one another, and promote healthy choices. For them, crossing the finish line wasn’t just about completing the race it was about celebrating stronger bodies, deeper family bonds, and the pride that comes with shared accomplishments.
“We encouraged each other every step of the way,” Sheri says. “What an experience! I’m so grateful to all of the volunteers and organizers who make this incredible event possible.”
Sheri embodies the spirit of teamwork and perseverance—both on site and at home. We’re proud to have her as part of the team!
