Kodiak’s $59M One-Of-A-Kind Airport Project Completes The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) has completed the $59 million Kodiak Airport Runway Safety Area Extension. This unusual project presented a major challenge — there wasn’t enough land for the extension. The solution? Build more land. ADOT&PF, the Federal Aviation
