a firm with a long history of dirt projects in California. Sukut Construction started in 1968 as a small grading contractor serving Orange County. As California grew, so did Sukut Construction. Now one of the largest earthmoving contractors on the west coast, Sukut serves markets from public and private to environmental and energy. The Sukut name is shared by two independent companies — Sukut Construction, the contractor expanding the Trampas Canyon Dam, and Sukut Equipment, the company supplying the iron for the job. Sukut Equipment supplies Sukut Construction with the equipment each project requires, and they also rent and sell equipment and parts across the United States and globally. see SUKUT page 26
