The 310-mi.-long St. Johns River flows near the east coast of Florida from west of Vero Beach to just north of Jacksonville. The state’s longest river, the St. Johns River, flows northward. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise are undertaking a long-term project — the creation of the First Coast Expressway (FCE). Upon completion, the $1.9 billion FCE will be a 46-mi.-long 4-lane limited access toll road. It will connect I-10 in Duval County to I-95 in St. Johns County. see SHANDS page 66
Staying Ahead of OSHA’s Top 10 Agency Wants to Drive Home Importance of Standards Compliance With Small Businesses At the National Adobe Stock photo Safety Council’s 2025 Safety Congress and Expo in September, OSHA unveiled its top 10 most frequently cited standards. Eric Harbin, OSHA regional administrator, revealed that for the 15th year, fall protection holds its place at the top of the list.
