The price of materials may cost the company in profits, and mistakes can cause the client to lose faith in the contractor. The answer may be found in your project management technology — estimating and takeoff software, to be exact.

Estimating and takeoff are just two aspects of a project bid, and it’s important to know the differences between the two.
