OR ALMOST FOUR DECADES, National Attachments has carved out a distinctive place in the attachments industry by focusing on a component that often determines success or failure on the job site.
Founded in 1989, the Gorham, Maine–based company is celebrating more than 36 years in business, a milestone that reflects both longevity and deep institutional knowledge, according to President Scott Guimond.
“We’re a complete resource across a wide range of industries that depend on construction equipment,” Guimond said. “Forestry, agriculture, construction, scrap, recycling, demolition, gas pipeline, municipal, heavy highway and more — if construction equipment is involved, we provide the tools that allow that carrier to do its job efficiently.”
Guimond often explains the company’s role in practical terms.
“The machine is the carrier,” he said. “We provide the tape measure, the hammer, the drill — the tools that actually get the work done.”
Rather than focusing on a single product category, National Attachments represents a carefully selected group of premium attachment manufacturers from around the world, emphasizing durability, engineering and application-specific performance. Among the cornerstone brands is NYE Manufacturing, a Canadian company with nearly 70 years of history. National Attachments has partnered with NYE for three decades, distributing its demolition, forestry, recycling, construction and specialty tools throughout the United States and internationally.
Additional partners include OMEF, known for vegetation management tools capable of handling everything from grass to large trees; Powerhand of the United Kingdom, a specialist in forestry applications; and Pladdet Rotating Grapples of the Netherlands, along with several other niche international manufacturers, and many USA-based manufacturers.
While the company serves many markets, NYE remains central to National Attachments’ identity.
“When people think of National Attachments, NYE forestry, demolition and recycling tools are usually what they associate us with,” Guimond said. “That’s been core to who we are.”
National Attachments and NYE are widely known for severe-duty wood recycling and demolition attachments, including stump harvesters/ wood shears, grapples and pulverizers designed for extreme daily use. The companies also helped advance wood shear and pulverizer technology, applying sophisticated engineering to maximize output from limited hydraulic power.

“You’re always working with a fixed amount of hydraulic horsepower,” Guimond said. “The challenge is how efficiently you use it.”
That philosophy underpins the company’s newest push: the NYE Terminator self-contained wood shear for excavators where thumbs do not need to be removed from the excavator. A tree-length and stumpmanagement shear that National Attachments will spotlight at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026.
The Terminator represents seven generations of engineering refinement and more than 30 years of development. Drawing on NYE’s demolition and
forestry experience, the tool uses geometries to extract maximum performance from an excavator’s hydraulic system. Many units have already shipped across the United States and beyond.
National Attachments’ booth will be staffed by company personnel providing details info on the products shown.
“There isn’t much we haven’t seen,” he said. “We know how to guide customers toward solutions that work — and away from costly mistakes.”

KOMPLET AMERICA IS HEADING INTO CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 with confidence, ready to showcase its growing lineup of compact crushers, screeners, shredders and conveyors that are redefining jobsite material processing, the company said.
“This year’s show gives us an opportunity to connect with contractors from around the world and demonstrate how our equipment can improve productivity and profitability on a wide range of projects,” added Cody Price, operations manager of Komplet America.
ConExpo-Con/AGG, held March 3–7, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is among the world’s largest construction trade shows, drawing more than 2,000 exhibitors and thousands of attendees from all corners of the industry each cycle, making it the perfect place for Komplet to highlight why compact, mobile recycling and material-processing equipment has emerged as a strong alternative to traditional stationary plants, especially for small and mid-sized contractors.
Though originally a European brand with decades of experience in rubble recycling equipment, Komplet’s presence in North and Central America has expanded rapidly through Komplet America, the

U.S. distributor responsible for sales, service and dealer support across the continent. The organization’s mission is to make high-quality, compact crushers and screeners accessible to contractors who need to process materials on site — eliminating costly hauling and landfill fees, according to the company.
“Komplet started as a solution to help recyclers and contractors break and screen material right where they work,” Price said. “Our machines are built to be easy to transport and operate, and they give customers the flexibility to turn their waste into usable product.”
At the heart of Komplet’s lineup are its compact crushers — including the K-JC 503, K-JC 604, K-JC 704 PLUS, K-JC 805 and the K-IC 70 impact crusher — all designed to reduce concrete, asphalt, brick and rock into usable aggregate. These machines are lightweight and mobile enough to be moved easily yet powerful enough to produce consistent, saleable material, according to Komplet.
Complementing the crushers are screening plants such as the Kompatto 221, Kompatto 5030 and Kompatto 124, plus specialty units like the K-TS 30 and K-TS 40 trommel screens. These versatile machines allow operators to separate material into
multiple fractions for base, fill or landscape product, or to fine-tune recycled material for resale.
In addition to crushing and screening, Komplet offers the Krokodile PLUS shredder for reducing bulky waste streams, and the K-TC 460 conveyor to efficiently move processed material around the site — turning chaotic jobsite stockpiles into organized inventory, the company said.
For ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026, Komplet America plans to bring a curated selection of its most popular machines, offering demonstrations and expert insights directly from its team.
“We want visitors to see firsthand how easy our equipment is to set up and run,” Price said. “We’ll be talking about machine versatility and how onsite processing can save time, reduce environmental impact and open up new revenue opportunities.”
Price added that as contractors continue to adapt to tight jobsite footprints and rising disposal costs, Komplet’s compact solutions are positioned to become an increasingly important part of the material-handling landscape — making this year’s show one of the most exciting yet for the company.

WHEN IT COMES to heavy-duty, jobsite–ready screening equipment, Pitbull Screeners proudly stands behind a simple promise: American-made machines built to outlast and outperform. Every Pitbull unit is designed and assembled in the United States using American steel and American craftsmanship. The result is equipment that thrives in the harshest environments and keeps working long after the competition taps out.
For approximately two decades, Lake Erie Portable Screeners has been manufacturing rugged, portable Pitbull screening plants that combine high output with easy transport and low maintenance. The company’s flagship model, the Pitbull 2300, has become a go-to machine for contractors, aggregate producers, landscapers, top-soil suppliers and recycling operations nationwide. Its reputation is rooted in performance, simplicity and reliability.
The Pitbull 2300 is built from fully welded structural tube steel frame engineered for maximum structural integrity. This heavy-duty design prevents twisting and cracking, even under continuous load or harsh operating conditions. The machine’s dual-tier

shaker deck offers a generous 42 sq. ft. of screen surface area, allowing operators to process large volumes of material quickly and efficiently. Quickchange screen panels make it easy to switch between materials — topsoil, mulch, compost, gravel, sand and even construction and demolition debris.
Under the hood, the 2300 is powered by a 74 hp Tier IV Final diesel engine, driving a fully hydraulic system. With no belts, chains or complex mechanical components, the power transfer is clean and efficient, resulting in fewer wear points, less downtime and lower operating costs. Setup takes approximately 15 minutes using the machine’s built-in hydraulic jacks, and an adjustable stacking conveyor produces stockpiles up to 13 ft. high. At roughly 13,400 lbs., the Pitbull 2300 is easy to tow between job sites, yet rugged enough to stay in continuous production.
Because Pitbull controls the manufacturing process from start to finish, quality never takes a back seat. The company sources materials domestically whenever possible and assembles every unit
under one roof. That level of control translates into shorter lead times, responsive service and fast parts support — benefits that contractors appreciate when deadlines are tight and uptime matters.
While the Pitbull 2300 is the star of the fleet, Pitbull Screeners offers a complete line of portable screening equipment to meet the needs of different applications and project sizes. The lineup includes:
• Pitbull 2300B box screener — compact and ultra-portable, ideal for tight job sites or smaller material producers. Sharing the same 42 sq. ft. screening surface as its big brother 2300.
• Pitbull 5700 — a high-capacity severe-duty screener for operations that require maximum throughput.
• Pitbull grizzly screens — heavy-duty rock and debris separators designed for the removal of the toughest materials before finish screening.

AS PAVING PROJECTS GROW more complex and deadlines grow tighter, contractors are under increasing pressure to deliver demanding results with minimal disruption to traffic.
Jobsite space requirements are less, job tolerances are stricter and scheduling windows are narrower. To meet these demands, GOMACO continues to push the boundaries of paving innovation — offering equipment designed for precision, performance and ultimate jobsite flexibility.
The GOMACO GP348 is the company’s latest high-production placer/spreader and slipform paver, purpose-built for contractors who need versatility and high machine utilization. Equipped with a 48-in.wide conveyor belt, the GP348 places and evenly spreads concrete up to 36 ft. wide.
What sets it apart is its ability to transform — literally. In just one day, the GP348 can be converted into a four-track GP3 slipform paver capable of paving up to 30 ft. wide. Its four-track design enhances stability and onsite maneuverability, while its compact transport footprint allows it the capability to be hauled on a single semi-tractor trailer (either as a placer or paver), minimizing downtime between pours.
To make operations even smoother, the GP348

can be run via wireless remote control, giving operators the ability to position themselves where needed for maximum visibility.
For those who prefer a classic two-track configuration, GOMACO offers the GP360. This powerful placer/spreader features a 60-in.-wide belt and the ability to spread material up to 36 ft. wide. Like its four-track sibling, the GP360 can be quickly converted into a two-track GP3 paver for slipform paving up to 30 ft. wide.
Both the GP348 and GP360 placers can be equipped with optional sonic sensors that monitor concrete depth behind the placer’s strike off. Through Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, provided by GOMACO’s exclusive G+ control system, the paver operator has the ability to adjust the elevation of the hydraulically operated strike-off of the placing unit to maintain a consistent head of concrete in front of the paver — ensuring optimal smoothness and uniformity from start to finish.
When space is limited but productivity can’t be, the GP3 four-track paver shines. Designed for paving widths up to 30 ft., it features rotary-sensored slew drives on its leg pivots that work seamlessly with the G+ control system. Operators can automate transitions from transport to paving mode, dramatically
reducing setup time and improving efficiency.
The GP3’s flexible leg movement also enables obstacle avoidance while paving — an invaluable feature in urban or restricted paving scenarios. Fully 3D-machine control capable, the GP3 eliminates the need for stringlines, saving time, labor, and clutter on site. Paired with the GSI (GOMACO Smoothness Indicator), operators can monitor pavement smoothness in real time, helping to ensure a smoother ride quality. GOMACO also offers optional GRD (GOMACO Remote Diagnostics, available on all GOMACO models with G+ controls), which allows contractor or GOMACO service personnel to remotely monitor and troubleshoot machine functions. GRD also allows remote updates to the G+ control software and remote analysis of smoothness data from the GSI.
Every feature in GOMACO’s new generation of equipment is designed with one goal in mind: helping contractors deliver the highest-quality concrete pavements more efficiently. From remote operation and smart sensors to rapid reconfiguration and realtime smoothness monitoring, GOMACO machines give contractors the tools they need to meet modern paving challenges with confidence.

The plant also features a dual-motor, undercrusher pan feeder with discharge clearance in excess of 23 in. to enable greater material flow and virtually eliminate clogging, and an easily removable discharge conveyor that allows for quick access to under-crusher area, as well as to the discharge conveyor itself, for inspection, maintenance and cleaning of both.
TalonTrax comes equipped with a cross-belt, permanent magnet that removes steel contaminants from crushed material. The magnet is reversible to allow steel discharge from either side and stays on for transport.
In addition, the TalonTrax features a heavy-duty hopper-construction sized for feeding with a loader or excavator and a grizzly bypass chute and cross conveyor with flop gate allowing for either removal of the material that passes through the grizzly deck for stockpiling or blending back with the crushed material.
The new TalonStack self-propelled, radial stockpiling conveyor has been designed to improve pro-
ductivity and mobility while minimizing operator costs. On display at ConExpo will be the TalonStack 65, with Eagle Crusher offering a wide range of TalonStack sizes.
Also, on display at the show will be the next generation UltraMax 1400-OC portable impactor plant — one of the most versatile crushing and screening plants for larger jobs. Discharge material feeds to a separate conveyor coming out of the side of the crusher at a 90-degree angle and will be displayed with the optional pan feeder. The next generation plant has been designed for simpler maintenance and ease of operation.
Eagle Crusher’s E-Plant, first introduced in 2014, is the industry’s only true high production triple-deck screening/crushing system on one chassis. It transports in one pull, for the aggregate, asphalt, and recycling industries. Featured at the Eagle Crusher booth will be the triple-deck E-Plant. E-Plant also is available in a two-deck model.

BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP over construction sites across America, Texas Pride dump trailers are already backing into position. In Atlanta, a landscaping crew loads flatbeds for the day’s route. In Oklahoma, ranchers hook up to move equipment. Different jobs, different applications. But the same question matters to all of them: “Will this equipment work as hard as I will?”
“Absolutely. Today and every day,” said Texas Pride Trailers.
Since 1998, Texas Pride Trailers has built equipment in Madisonville, Texas, with a straightforward commitment: rock-solid, made-to-order trailers, factory-direct pricing, U.S. steel, and old-fashioned American grit, according to the company.
“It’s not about mass production or offshore shortcuts,” added the company. “No unsold inventory gathering dust on dealer lots. Just trailers built to customer specifications and delivered in about two or three weeks.”
For construction professionals, it’s an approach that delivers measurable advantages. Texas Pride’s dump trailers led the market in standardizing cylindrical hydraulic lifts over cheaper, less reliable scissor-lift designs, according to the company. Its roll-off

trailers accommodate construction dumpsters from multiple manufacturers with hookup systems built for jobsite efficiency. Flatbed and lowboy configurations handle everything from skid steers to excavators, with decks engineered for safe loading and secure tie-down and transfer.
The factory-direct model eliminates dealer markup, which is often 30 percent or more, said the company.
“Customers work directly with folks who understand every detail of how their trailers are crafted,” the company added. “It’s this commitment that ensures professional-grade quality from the first call to delivery, ensuring specifications match the requirements of the job as opposed to settling for generic dealer inventory.”
That relationship matters to Cody Archie, who runs Bar 7 Ranch and owns three Texas Pride trailers in constant use.
“The build quality is obvious the first time you use it,” he said. “The deck doesn’t flex under load. The gates operate smoothly even after thousands of cycles. These trailers work as hard as I do, which means I don’t need to think twice about whether they’ll do the job.”
The reliability stems from deliberate design choices — heavier steel than industry standard; reinforced crossmembers and structural supports, axles, suspension systems and running gear overengineered for sustained heavy use; welds that exceed specification; premium paint systems; LED lighting; sealed wiring harnesses and industrialgrade bearings throughout, according to Texas Pride Trailers.
“When you’re talking directly to the person who’ll be using your product every day, cutting corners never pays off,” said Jim Bray, who founded Texas Pride in 1998.
Twenty-seven years later, that conviction drives every trailer that rolls out of the company’s facility.
According to Texas Pride Trailers, for construction contractors evaluating total cost of ownership, the math is straightforward: trailers that last longer, hold resale value better and require less maintenance, which ultimately costs less than cheaper alternatives needing frequent repairs or premature replacement.
ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026 marks Texas Pride’s first appearance at the industry's largest trade event. For more information, visit texaspridetrailers.com. .

WHEN IT COMES TO DEMOLITION, recycling and onsite material processing, time, space and cost are always at a premium. Remu’s new crusher bucket range is designed for contractors looking to turn their excavators into full-fledged mobile crushing plants.
In the past, many demolition and roadwork projects have relied on stationary crushers or offsite processing, which is costly and time-consuming. Remu’s new generation of jaw crusher buckets are designed to streamline workflows, cut transport costs and radically improve site sustainability.
The new crushers are built from premium wearresistant steel and employ advanced jaw-plate designs to deliver consistent crushing power over time even when dealing with tough materials like concrete, rock or asphalt. The adjustable output allows operators to choose the right particle size from coarse for fill or base layers to finer aggregate for backfill or paving sub-bases.
Remu’s new jaw crusher bucket line comes in three sizes, each suited to different excavator tonnages and project scales.
• Jaw-70 — for excavators 12–20 tons: compact, agile and ideal for tight urban sites, small demolitions or selective concrete processing.
• Jaw-90 — for excavators 20–25 tons: a bal-

anced mid-size solution, ideal for mid-sized demolition, roadwork or asphalt recycling projects.
• Jaw-110 — for excavators more than 25 tons: the heavy-duty solution for large demolition sites, quarry work or large-volume recycling tasks.
Regardless of the model, the crushed output is dispensed below the bucket simplifying stockpiling or reuse, and output size can be adjusted on-the-fly to match job requirements.
Benefits include slashing costs and boosting efficiency; sustainability and circular economy; flexibility for many sectors; and lower maintenance and higher uptime.
If you manage demolition, road repair or construction waste, or simply want to reduce rock/concrete hauling and landfill fees, this might be the single most cost-effective upgrade to your fleet: Instead of loading waste into trucks, hauling to a crusher or landfill, then hauling back aggregate — you mount a crusher bucket on your excavator, crush materials on site and feed them directly into your next phase: backfill, paving base or roadbed — all saving time, fuel and money on a smaller carbon footprint.
For small-to-mid-size urban jobs where space is tight, the smaller model (Jaw-70) offers compact power. For larger roadwork, quarrying, or heavy demolition, the Jaw-110 gives you full-scale capacity.
With its new crusher bucket lineup, small, medium and large, Remu offers an alternative to traditional demolition and crushing workflows. For United States-based contractors, infrastructure firms and recycling-minded operators, these buckets unlock stronger efficiency, sustainability and flexibility — all from just an excavator.

ALOT OF DOWNTIME hides behind the word “normal.” Normal is preventive maintenance getting pushed because the job is behind. Normal is a service task that should take 15 minutes turning into an hour because the right fluids, filters or tools are not within reach. If you want better uptime, you do not need luck. You need a better system.
For earthmoving contractors, uptime is the result of three things working together: clear ownership, repeatable field process and reliable daily fluids.
A strong uptime system starts with people and roles. Who owns fueling? Who owns DEF handling? Who owns daily checks? If the answer is “whoever has time,” the job is already vulnerable. Standard work beats heroic effort, especially when staffing shifts or when the only available driver is the one with a CDL or hazmat endorsement.
Next, build a service workflow that is designed for the reality of multiple job sites. Preventive main-

tenance does not fail because teams do not care. It fails because it is hard to execute consistently when equipment is spread out and production pressure is high. The best operations protect service windows and make them easier to complete by staging what is needed where the work happens. Fuel, DEF, grease, reclaim, filters, spill control and a simple checklist. When the process is repeatable, PM stops competing with the job and starts supporting it.
Third, treat daily fluids like precision inputs, because they are. Clean fuel and clean DEF handling are not just “logistics.” They are reliability variables. When handling is sloppy, you invite contamination issues, messy transfers and avoidable troubleshooting that steals time at the worst moment. When daily fluids are handled cleanly and consistently, fueling becomes a built-in checkpoint that strengthens preventive maintenance instead of disrupting it.
You can see what this looks like in the real world
at Cardinal Civil Contracting, a civil contractor serving the Raleigh-Durham, N.C., area. With dozens of active jobs and a large fleet to support, its team wanted tighter control over time and costs, and less dependence on outside service schedules.
By bringing more PM work in house and building a field-ready process around mobile service capability, the company improved consistency, reduced scheduling friction and made it easier for PM specialists to service equipment across changing job sites. Just as important, they removed a common bottleneck by simplifying who could operate the service setup without requiring a CDL or hazmat endorsement.
That is what a real uptime system looks like. It is not a single tool. It is an operation designed to keep machines working, keep PM on schedule and keep crews focused on production.

Morooka photo
With a broad rotator line‐up, deeper rental penetra‐tion and an expanding dealer base, Morooka is positioned to lead the next phase of carrier evo‐lution in North America.

OVER THE PAST DECADE, rubber-track carriers have shifted from niche support equipment to essential tools across construction, utility, pipeline and land management sectors. Nowhere is that growth more visible than in North America. The surge in rotator usage over the past 10 years has been one of the most defining market changes. Contractors are under pressure to do more with less: tighter corridors, limited access and a greater emphasis on environmental reclamation have all made 360-degree rotation a game changer.
Morooka, a global pioneer of the rubber-track carrier, has been at the center of track carrier developments in North America for the past 25 years. Morooka saw the need for rotators and has steadily expanded its offerings with machines built in both the United States and Japan. Driven by the rising demand for both high-capacity rotator and straight frame units, Morooka developed larger payload machines to reduce costs for contractors and now offers rotator, straight frame and utility chassis models from 3.5-cu.-yds. (8,800-lb.) to 16.5-cu.-yds.
(44,000-lb.) capacity.
Morooka’s advantage has been its consistency and durability. Contractors, especially in the utility and pipeline sectors, have long associated the brand with predictable uptime, low operating cost and high resale value. Reliability under harsh conditions, long undercarriage life and a stable component supply are key decision factors for fleet managers.
A major catalyst behind the brand’s recent growth has been the rental industry. Morooka carriers dominate long-term rentals throughout North America, and their durability is reflected in high rental utilization rates. As rental companies and equipment dealers have expanded their fleets, endusers have gained more exposure to Morooka equipment, creating a feedback loop of demand. Contractors try track carriers through rental, discover their jobsite advantages and eventually move toward ownership.
Simultaneously, Morooka’s growing dealer and rental network has become more sophisticated in how it positions and supports track carriers in local
markets. Dealers and rental operators who understand the nuances of powerline, pipeline, environmental and tight site construction projects can deploy machines properly and keep them working steadily, directly affecting ROI. That expertise has helped accelerate adoption in many regions where rubber-track carriers were once specialty equipment.
Innovation continues to be part of the Morooka story. Development projects, such as the MST-880 with a larger Super Cab aimed at improving operator comfort and crew capacity, signal Morooka America’s direction. Morooka continues to innovate with machines purpose built for demanding North American job sites.
Morooka expects continued carrier market growth. With a broad rotator lineup, deeper rental penetration and an expanding dealer base, Morooka is positioned to lead the next phase of carrier evolution in North America.

ESCON LLC IS AN ARIZONA-BASED MANUFACTURER more complex and deadlines grow tighter, contractors are under increasing pressure to deliver demanding results with minimal disruption to traffic.
Nescon LLC is an Arizona-based manufacturer focused on simplifying mechanical sweeping for the paving and milling industry through its flagship product, the XBroom mechanical street sweeper.
The company began limited production of the XBroom in 2009 after identifying widespread inefficiencies in traditional sweeping equipment used on milling jobs. Since then, the machine has gained traction nationwide among contractors and municipalities seeking higher productivity, easier maintenance and reduced downtime, said William Conklin, CEO of Nescon LLC.
“Simplicity is built into every aspect of the machine’s design,” Conklin added. “From operation to maintenance, we wanted everything to be easy to access, easy to understand and easy to fix.”
The XBroom is designed for heavy-duty, high-production sweeping in milling environments. Unlike conventional brooms, which often require additional equipment to collect millings, the XBroom sweeps, collects and hauls material in a single pass using a self-contained hopper.
Contractor Roots
Nescon’s origins are rooted in contracting.

Founder John Nesbitt was a paving contractor who grew frustrated with frequent mechanical, hydraulic and electronic failures in existing sweepers, Conklin said. Equipment downtime and limited manufacturer support often slowed or halted milling operations.
The first XBrooms were built in a single bay in Tempe before the company relocated to its current Mesa, Ariz., facility in 2014. Nescon initially operated with a three-person team, including Nesbitt and his son, Chris.
Today, XBroom sweepers are used on milling projects across the United States and Canada. The machine has been adopted by several large private paving contractors, including American Paving Specialists (APS) and municipalities nationwide from Long Island, N.Y., to Dallas, Texas, to Riverside, Calif., any many more in between.
APS President Bill Stanley has credited the XBroom with significantly improving his company’s milling productivity and drastically shortening after milling cleanup times.
According to Nescon, the XBroom can reduce labor and equipment requirements by consolidating sweeping and material handling into a single machine operated by one person. The company estimates the broom can sweep approximately 30 percent more material than competing units in the same

amount of time.
The machine’s design emphasizes accessibility. hydraulic lines, electrical components and controls are intentionally exposed behind two rear access doors to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. Operators adjust broom angle, pressure and elevator settings without leaving the machine.
Operating the XBroom requires minimal input, Conklin said.
“There are no extra buttons or levers,” he added. “You turn on the PLC, engage the PTO and operate with a single touch of the joystick.”
Nescon also provides 24-hour technical support and incorporates self-diagnostic systems to help reduce downtime.
Nescon continues to focus on product reliability, service and ease of use as it serves contractors operating in demanding production environments.
“Our goal has always been to make sweeping as straightforward as possible,” Conklin said. “When equipment works the way it should, contractors can focus on the rest of the job.”
Anyone interested in learning more about the XBroom can visit Nescon at booth C22305 in Central Hall at ConExpo from March 3-7, 2026, or visit xbroom.com. Videos and more posts can be seen on all social media platforms @Xbroom_By_Nescon

SMITHCO SIDE DUMP TRAILERS will feature its latest advancement for the construction industry, The BRUTE CP30 side dump trailer, at ConExpo in Booth P7947.
The BRUTE is an innovative new side dump trailer that provides a more efficient way to transport dirt and debris from construction sites, the company said.
“It offers faster load times and capabilities for more strategic dumping, saves on maintenance costs and requires minimal training to operate,” SmithCo added. “It’s ideal for construction projects, particularly as an alternative to scrapers for off-road site preparation — hauling more dirt, faster and at a lower cost.”
SmithCo re-engineered its original CP30 construction pup trailer to develop The BRUTE as a more robust version of this popular trailer. The BRUTE is designed with heavy-duty components that bolster the frame, hinges, hitch and landing gear — enabling it to handle the toughest construction sites, the company said. It can be pulled with construction power units or tractors for off-road work and provides a 30-ton capacity with all-terrain, heavy-duty flotation tires. The BRUTE can be used as a single unit or hooked in tandem or triple combinations to move larger amounts of material.
Grayson Edwards, owner of Global CM LLC, will be at SmithCo’s booth throughout ConExpo. Edwards was integral in testing The BRUTE during its development, and together with site preparation expert Steve Moyna of Moyna Consulting, will be presenting an Education Session titled, “New Technology in

Site Preparation Will Speed Job Times & Increase Profits” on Monday, March 3 from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. as part of the “Earthmoving & Site Development” and “Technology Solutions” learning tracks. The session will explore site preparation projects that incorporate tractors and side dump trailers versus traditionally used scrapers and haul trucks. The case study will demonstrate a decrease in operating and maintenance costs along with an increase in efficiency for these types of projects.
SmithCo also will showcase its SX5 and SX6 side dump trailers at the event. The SX5 features five axles as well as a liftable/steerable axle added behind the landing leg area. The SX design allows operators to stockpile or windrow to either the curb or roadside. This trailer works well in most states that allow for a gross weight of up to 108,500 lbs., the company said.
The SX6 trailer provides easier maneuverability, exceptional capacity and less cost upfront than doubles or trains offer, SmithCo added. It features three standard axles with three Ridewell steerable lift axle suspensions. The SX6 design allows operators with a standard CDL to haul up to 37.4 tons.
“SmithCo side dump trailers are a safe and efficient way to haul a variety of construction materials, including dirt, rocks, construction debris and more,” the company said. “SmithCo trailers are made-to-order and built to meet each customer’s specific needs.”

THE DIAMOND MOWERS DM360 is transforming the municipal maintenance category by merging Diamond’s boom with a platform, according to the company.
“This municipal maintenance machine delivers unmatched visibility, stability and adaptability to redefine what a dedicated roadside carrier can do and set a new standard for multipurpose public works performance,” said Diamond Mowers.
Developed in partnership with municipalities, DOTs, drainage districts and fire mitigation teams, the DM360 is designed for real-world versatility and operator safety. At its core is a rotating cab and boom system that moves in unison to give operators a full 360-degree view of their surroundings. This synchronized rotation allows for safer, more comfortable operation — especially when working just feet from traffic or along steep embankments — helping reduce fatigue, minimize blind spots and improve precision, according to the company.
The DM360’s patented engine placement in the lower chassis creates a uniquely low center of gravity, ensuring optimal balance and stability even when the boom is fully extended. A built-in stabilizer further enhances control on uneven or soft terrain, while the slimmer 99-in. profile makes it easy to maneuver through narrow corridors. Together, these

design elements create a carrier that feels more intuitive and controlled in any environment., according to Diamond Mowers.
Inside the cab, dual-joystick excavator controls help shorten the learning curve for new operators and reduce fatigue for seasoned ones. Three steering modes — two-wheel, four-wheel and crab — provide precise handling in challenging spaces, while safety features like a Level II FOPS cab guard, .5-in. polycarbonate panels and reinforced roof protection ensure visibility never compromises protection, said Diamond Mowers.
Municipalities need to maximize the value of every asset, and the DM360 delivers true year-round utility, added Diamond Mowers. Available in 25- and 30-ft. boom configurations, the carrier supports mowing, ditching, mulching, grading and snow removal through quick-change functionality and robust hydraulics. The DM360X package expands that utility with a universal skid-steer plate, lifting arm and 40 GPM high-flow circuit, allowing seamless integration with Diamond’s SK-series drum mulchers, stump grinders and other attachments. This multi-season adaptability increases asset utilization across municipal departments and drives a stronger ROI, according to the company.
As Diamond’s first entry into the dedicated carrier
space, the DM360 represents a significant engineering milestone, the company said, adding, “Every element, from its rotating cab to its modular attachment system, is built with intention and precision, offering the safety, comfort and productivity municipalities have long demanded but rarely found in a single platform.”
The impact extends well beyond performance, too. The DM360 reduces operator strain, minimizes reversing and idle time and improves environmental efficiency by cutting fuel use and emissions. Supported by Diamond Mowers’ single-source warranty, service and parts network, owners benefit from streamlined support and long-term dependability.
In a field where equipment reliability directly affects infrastructure safety and efficiency, the DM360 introduces both a new machine and a smarter way of working, the company said, adding, “By combining innovation, engineering excellence and scalable versatility, Diamond Mowers’ DM360 stands as the future of municipal maintenance as a safer, more sustainable solution that works in every season and from every angle.”
