WUHAN COMMERCIAL STREET Architect at RTA Office Santiago Parramon, Shanghai
The project is part of a greater urban development strategy in Wuhan, Hubei province of China, for the 10th International Garden Expo on 2015. The project will be developed in 2 phases. First phase will be before the Garden Expo and will host a wedding center and commercial street with a total GFA of around 7000 sqm. On the second phase, the total GFA will reach around 14000 sqm. To design a Commercial Street, the basic diagram is a central street with commercial spaces on both sides. Through the control of the Geometry, is also possible to create some valuable spaces for living, meeting, sharing. The vibrant spaces are the cores of the commercial street, with higher density wich act as attractor points.

DATABASE SHANGHAI Architect at RTA Office Santiago Parramon, Shanghai
In the industrial park in Baoshan district Shanghai, an cloud-based data company is building new offices and a storage center for its databse servers. The total GFA is of 82200 m2. In order to lower the costs, the existing buildings will pe preserved and converted. The technical standards of climatization for the server rooms require a large number of cooling devices to be installed around the perimeter of the building. A new buffer space of more than 3 meters is therefore created. In order to create a landmark between the monotonous industrial buildings we create another exterior layer to hide the cooling devices while still keeping the ventilation requirements. A wall of bricks with a distinctive moving pattern is created.

TIANTUO INDUSTRIAL PARK Architect at Archiland International, Tianjin
Tiantuo industrial area was an important manufactory of agricultural vehicle and parts in the South-Western side of Tianjin city center. Because of city continuous expansion of the city and because of the shift in the economy from secondary to tertiary sector, the site has been abandoned. A total site area of 135000 m2 has now become an important heritage of industrial architecture. The vision of the development is to enhance the cultural, economical and social value of the area with a strategy of conservation, adaptive re-use and new implant. The land will become a mixed-use system of commercial spaces, cultural exhibitions and offices for creative industries. An important focus has been to blend the new public areas with the natural environment and the rest of the city.

DUBAI SPORTS LOOP Concept proposal at Nabito Architects and Partners, Barcelona
The quest for a contemporary identity is very visible in Dubai, but most of the time the projects are focusing more on de shape than on the space itself. Many buildings which try to protect the people from the arid climate, end up by becoming isolated self-suficient objects. Dubai Sport Loop tries be a connection. Situated near one of the biggest shopping malls of the city, this project tries to recover the public space of the city by creating a sense of community around the central concept of sport. I started the analysis of the sport phenomenon, understanding it not as a particular activity or profession but as part of a lifestyle. Sport means something different for each and every person.

THE MISSING LINK OF THE CITY Project team with Mihalea Gabriel Ioan; Shortlisted in 2010 “Upgrade : Continuity and change” competition
The history of Bucharest city is marked by various moments when continuity has been altered by radical changes. During the middle of 1950`s a new urban axis into the very core of our city has been created : Ion C. Brătianu Boulevard. This urban axis is vital for the needs of a contemporary capital, but affects the historical center which has been splitted in two: the West side, with Lipscani street and Curtea Veche Museum and the East side, with Saint George Piazza and Bărăția church, where the urban life and activities are missing. How can we link the values of the Past to the identity of Present? We cannot turn back time nor can we recreate the buildings of yesterday. Instead we can try to integrate the historical center in the city life of today without losing the functional and visual axis of the I.C Bratianu Boulevard.
