In 2018, Mercedes-Benz was the first carmaker to integrate navigation via What3Words as a standard into the M-BUX system and was followed - at first only partially - by Jaguar Landrover. The current Tom Tom devices work with the new standard and Alpine navigation devices will follow soon. In the Holiday Guide you will find the 3-word addresses for each campground entry just like on www.leadingcampings. com. Mercedes-Benz explains the introduction with the advantages of voice commands. The accuracy is also higher than that of GPS navigation. What3Words divides the world into 3×3m squares; a total of 57 quintillion quadrants have each received a randomly generated address of three words.
