The UK Expansion Worker Visa is part of the Global Business Mobility route, allowing overseas businesses NOT yet trading in the UK to send senior managers or specialist employees to set up a UK branch. You must have a valid Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), worked for your employer outside the UK for 12 months (unless earning £73,900+), and do a job on the eligible occupations list. Minimum salary: £45,800 p.a. or going rate. Stay duration: 12 months after CoS start date OR time on CoS + 14 days (whichever shorter), extendable by 12 months, maximum 2 years total.
