Individuals and Families Served by Community Health Worker Services

7,805 Hours of Interpreting and Translating Services

Community Health Workers (CHWs) are trusted, front line workers who serve as a liaison between health and social service systems, and community members. CHWs work alongside community members to help with their needs, provide education, assist in goal-setting, and increase self-sufficiency.

IMAA’s contracted interpreters community members who serve as a bridge for language and communication. We interpret in a variety of settings including health and medical, legal, and human services and translate multiple kinds of documents for local agencies.

IMAA’s Employment Counselors assist refugees and immigrants to achieve self-sufficiency by offering case management services related to finding and obtaining employment.
