It is an exciting time in the cattle industry with high calf prices and mild weather to start our calving season.

to the commercial producer and purebred breeding stock operations that have muscle, fertility, docility and yield!

The Stewart family has had an eventful year with the wedding of our daughter Kallie and her husband Steven Pelech, in July. Then, in November, Ty and Claire welcomed their second child and our first granddaughter, Summer. The number of people in our family to love our Limousin herd has increased by two.

Thank you to all our previous buyers for your continued support. We would love to discuss with you how your current bulls are doing and what your needs are for this year. We also look forward to discussing with any prospective buyers how our bulls would fit into your herds.

We are excited this year to welcome Sam, Brandon, Cole and Tyson Nemetz with Redline Wrenching to our sale, joining us as guest consignors. With their contributions and the addition of new bulls and AI sires in our program, we are proud to offer you a great variety of pedigrees to meet your bull needs. As in previous years, the bull sale will be live at the farm, this year on February 19, 2024. Cattle will be available for viewing on sale day or any time leading up to it.

Here is one of my favorites in the bullpen. It’s easy to gravitate towards this big dark red, hairy, soggy and powerful individual.

Once you get down to ground level Kodiak has a really nice big even foot under him and moves really well. He will do a great job in anyone’s herd.

Back in 2019 we bought a pick of the Circle T Limousin herd at the Solid Gold Sale. We then chose Circle T Elusive Mist which many have come to know today as she has raised some very high end individuals for us like 777 Hawkins, DBCC/777 The Kraken and 777 Jinx. so when the opportunity came to purchase a pick from Circle T LImousin again it was an easy decision to buy. I partnered with my cousin Aaron of Cornerstone Land and Cattle and we ended up going and selecting Circle T Evangeline with EMT 224K (Lot 21) at side. This is the reason for the different tattoo in our sale but we guarantee him like any other bull and feel he’s a great choice for any herd.

Something a little different in Lot 30 and 31. We had a bull go down unnoticed leaving a good group of cows open so we decided, let’s try some October/November calving on some ET calves. This is how these boys were created. Lot 30 is a dark red homo polled bull with big scrotal and off some very influential parentage. Richmond Xotic SRD 6X was a great donor cow for Richmonds with lots of high end progeny. RPY Paynes Diesel 37D continues to show his quality in calves every year across North America.

On top of being off-age, 777 Keto is our very first “SIM-LIM” to sell, Crossing both of our breeds Simmental and Limousin.

This is something i’ve had my mind on for a few years now and i decided to flush my donor cow Excel Polled My Lady to the very popular SVS Betts 808F Simmental bull. I was lucky enough to have 2 full sibs off this mating in November 2022, one heifer and one bull. Both are very eye-catching and powerful cattle and I’m excited for their futures.

In 2019, we purchased “Pick of the Herd” from Circle T Limousin resulting in our selection of Circle T Elusive Mist who many have become familiar with due to her first calf − 777 Cattle Hawkins has become extremely popular across Canada after Double B Cattle Co. purchased him half-interest for $16,500. Hawkins progeny have been very impressive in herds as well as the show ring, including DBCC Whiskey Lullaby 24L who was grand champion Limousin female at Farmfair International last fall.

After seeing the quality this cow had produced we quickly added her into the donor program and ended up partnering with Ashton and Kendra of Double B Cattle Co. to use their herd sire Circle T Fight Club on a flush. This resulted in THE KRAKEN. Early on, Kraken stood out for his overall dimension, muscle, shape and stoutness − all qualities he still possesses.

As many know the best way to move on with partnership calves is to sell them, so we decided the Night Shift would be an exciting venue to do this at. When the dust settled we decided that Kraken was exactly what we needed at 777 to walk the pastures so we bought the bull for $20,000.

We are excited for his future in our program and want to share the exclusive opportunity with a few other breeders. This will be the only semen sold for the 2024 breeding season.

These flush calves are off 2 different sire groups, but both are similar in type being long-spined, deep-bodied, muscular animals while maintaining excellent structure, feet, hair, and temperament. SALE FORMAT

This will be a video sale. Bulls will be on site for viewing but not ran through a ring.

TRUCKING & DELIVERY

Free delivery within 500kms of the Ranch. Trucking arrangements can be coordinated and arranged for extended distances at the buyer’s cost. Any buyers who pick up their bulls before March 1, 2024, will receive a credit of $500 from the seller towards a future purchase. Any bulls left at the farms must be insured and will be boarded for free until May 1, 2024, after such time a charge of $3.50/day a head will apply.

EPD'S

EPD’S (expected progeny difference) can be a very useful tool in selecting cattle for any herd. Due to these numbers changing weekly and the confusion of what these numbers actually mean, we have decided to leave them out of the catalog this year.

We will have them on hand and would love to chat with anyone interested in them or who would like to learn more about ways to use them in selection of your next herd bull.

We as the sellers guarantee that every lot put up for sale has been vet checked semen tested prior to sale day and is sold with the knowledge that we will stand behind our product 100%. We are never liable for more that the purchase value of the animal. Cash or cheque will be made payable at the clerk’s desk sale day, please talk to us prior to the sale if any further arrangements need to be made.

During the sale if there are any disputes, the auctioneer will open the bid between those two parties and those two parties only; the auctioneer’s decision in this matter will be final.

Anything announced on the block during the sale will take precedence over any written material.

We as the sellers reserve the right to collect in herd use semen on any of the bulls in the sale offering and will be done at our expense and the buyers convenience.
