Things to do

There are so many things that you can do in the town of Rhodes that perhaps on your first day you might like to try the open bus tour which will give you an overview of what you might like to explore in the town during your stay. And there is a Noddy train as well if you prefer.

Within approximately 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel there are numerous operators offering fishing expeditions, boat trips to other Islands and to Marmaris (in Turkey) and local boat trips. One trip that is often particularly favourably mentioned is the boat trip from the ferry port (approx. 2 miles away) to the other main attraction on the Island namely Lindos some 30 miles away on the east coast. This town is very beautiful and unspoilt and boasts its own Acropolis too. Or you could hire a car (provided you bring your license) and drive to Lindos perhaps stopping off at the Butterfly farm or the golf course on the way. As at the time of going to press, prices are generally lower for most things you may want to do including food and drink than what you would expect to pay in the UK. 2
