Although this brochure contains some pricing details, please do note that these are subject to change. However, our website guaranteedevents. com, will continue to be updated daily and will have the very latest availability information including table numbers booked to date and prices. UK hotels especially are under a lot of pressure to increase their rates as their overheads have increased significantly over the last year or so. Our bridge holidays abroad are averaging over fifteen tables and British Bridge breaks over eight tables and they continue to book up quickly so please do call us sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

We continue to be in a strong financial position, and not far away from fully recovering from the effects of the pandemic and disruption to the travel industry. Others have not been as fortunate and some continue to be in difficulty, so we urge you to check your holiday provider. We are happy to offer free and independent advice should you be unsure of how others are trading or dealing with your bookings. We have been successfully trading for 30 years and our ethos continues to be to look after our clients to the best of our ability as well as our many UK and Overseas suppliers. After all we are only as good as the hotels and the people we work with. It is important for us to be profitable however this does not dictate how we treat our valued customers. Thank you to our customers that have reviewed our company on google, this is very much appreciated. We now have over 87 reviews and a rating of 4.7 on Google.

PRICES

We continue to offer the best value for money bridge holidays. However, we are having to increase our prices as hotels seek to cover the rapid increase in their overheads. So the advertised prices may change more than they have done in the past and especially for single occupancy rooms. It may well be that those that book with us early will pay significantly less than those booking later on. We cannot help this and that is why we have tried to make the terms and conditions as generous as possible in order to encourage you to book sooner rather than later.

DEPOSITS

We ask for just £70 per person for UK-based holidays and will continue to charge you for the accommodation element of our holidays once the holiday has started. Our terms and conditions now means that you can cancel our UK holidays by giving just 29 days’ notice, and your deposit can be refunded in full. Or you can cancel by giving us no less than 15 days’ notice and you are able to transfer your deposit to any future available holiday. For cancellations with less than 15 days’ notice we will do our very best to resell your booking. You can change the booking name without charge up to the day of arrival. Please make sure you have travel insurance in place especially for overseas holidays and cruises as we pay hotels in advance and in full so it can be very difficult to refund you. All bookings are subject to terms and conditions that are on our web site at all times and sent to you with each booking made.

FLIGHTS

Although Bridge Overseas Ltd continues to hold its own ATOL license and bonding with the Travel Trust Association, we are now working with DialAFlight to help us with your flight bookings. They have an excellent reputation in the industry and will be able to support us with ATOL and ABTA protected flights booking services. Like us, you can call them six days a week and they have access to the very best flight options and prices. As we continue to grow as a business this partnership will also help us concentrate on delivering the very best holidays as possible while being supported by one of the major flight bookers in the UK. AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Private group airport transfers are included in the price of our overseas holidays for the main advertised flying days only and to the nearby named destination airport. Alternative dates, airports and or special transfer requirements may require an additional fee. Please always check these details with us first and book your accommodation before committing to your flights or other travel arrangements.

SINGLES & GROUPS

All our holidays are hosted and have at least one bridge director and bridge playing host. So whether you are a single player or traveller you will always be assured of a playing partner and will be made very welcome. Hotels in general will limit the numbers of bedrooms available for sole use and can charge a hefty supplement. We do try where possible to reduce this cost and encourage singles to book early to avoid disappointment. If you represent a club or a group we can organise a bespoke holiday package or event just for you.

GROUPS

You can book any of the published dates in this brochure subject to availability and if you have ten or more people we can offer a small discount. You can also choose a location anywhere around the world and we will happily organise a holiday where you want to go and when. If you represent a club or a group we can organise a bespoke holiday package or event just for you.

BEGINNERS AND IMPROVERS

Our Bridge holidays offer main Bridge sessions for bridge club standard players, we also now have selected holidays for Beginners, Improvers, relaxed and social bridge players. Please call us for more details if you are unsure of which holiday would be most suitable.

BRIDGE HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

We will be awarding EBU master points for both morning and evening sessions,when applicable subject to EBU guidelines. We will have Bridgemate electronic scoring, pre-dealt boards, and hand records available for all sessions. With interesting seminars and or morning workshops followed by morning bridge, subject to numbers, organised by experienced and friendly bridge directors and two holiday hosts. The scores are produced quickly after each session so you can take these with you to the bar and they are also uploaded to our site on BridgeWebs. Standard bridge holidays are licensed by the EBU. Our UK bridge breaks include at least half board, with a welcome drink’s reception on the arrival day before dinner. Overseas Holidays are either Half Board, Full Board or All-Inclusive accommodation and may also include morning or afternoon shopping trips, excursions, golf, bowling or walks.

We are delighted at long last to be able to use this hotel for our Festive Bridge holidays. With a super location sitting directly on the beach front and next to Puerto Marina and with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants immediately around the hotel.
