At the threshold of a new horizon, after a long but rewarding journey; worn out, tired, but inspired, you will stand still in silence and look over your shoulder. In that moment, you clearly glimpse the path you traveled—the road you chose.
This glimpse provides a picture etched forever in your heart and mind. The snowy mountain peaks, the dark and lonely valleys of despair, the flowers that brilliantly bloomed, the birds that sang a sweet morning lullaby, the tears of a broken heart, the smiles and Dreams of children...
This addition of the Connie Maxwell Annual Report provides a glimpse of our past fiscal year—the most unusual and unprecedented year of our lifetimes. But for Connie Maxwell it is clear, the faithfulness of God and His servants remain steadfast and true. As we cross the threshold of this past year and plunge heart-long into a bright and promising future, “A Decade of Dreams” stands before us.
Head Clemson Football Coach Dabo Swinney recently said, “May your dreams be greater than your memories.” The road we have chosen promises to be challenging but also full of eternal glory, unspeakable joy, and lasting Dreams.
