In the Spring of 2025, we launched the Breakthrough initiative at Connection Pointe. Over the past year, we’ve witnessed what only God can do—renewal, repentance, and lives turning toward Him.
As we step into year two, it’s clear that God is still writing this story. What He has already stirred through your faithfulness amazes me, and I’m excited to share both the breakthroughs we’ve witnessed and the new steps He’s calling us to take.
Across generations, locations, and countless quiet moments of surrender, God is reviving hearts and drawing people to Himself.
My prayer is that we continue living a lifestyle of “repentance for relationship”—setting aside anything that competes with our love for God and placing Christ above all in our hearts, homes, and finances.
Breakthrough is a shared calling to pursue one more transformed life, one more restored family, one more story of grace. Together, we get to join God in work that far exceeds what any of us could accomplish alone.

When Breakthrough began, our vision was that every person at Connection Pointe would put Christ above all and join in what God is doing through His church. From the start, we longed to see a movement of people fully engaged in faith, generosity, and mission—each discovering how God has gifted them to make a difference. Our prayer was that this season would grow our trust in Him, deepen our obedience, and expand our impact for His Kingdom. Breakthrough has always been about taking bold steps of faith and growing in confidence as we follow God’s call.

We are strengthening our four current locations—Avon, Brownsburg, Carmel, and Fishers—through permanent facilities, needed improvements, and intentional ministry care. These investments equip thousands to follow Jesus and position us to saturate cities and communities with Christ’s Kingdom.
Raise the Strongest Generation
We’re expanding our investment in Youth Worldview, kids, students, and young adults by creating better environments, growing leaders, and advancing our discipleship curriculum. Our aim is to raise a generation confident in their faith and ready to boldly influence the world for Christ.
Amplify Jesus Online & Globally
We’re extending our reach by supporting new missionaries, campus ministries, and digital platforms that carry the message of Jesus beyond our walls. Through livestream worship, Daily Hope, and global partnerships, we are sharing Christ locally, nationally, and around the world. We are adding 5 new missionaries from the Next Generation.

God is using our investments in students and worldview to shape confident, courageous young leaders. Kaya shared her faith at school:
“God was nudging me recently to have conversations with four different friends at school about Jesus. Because of the worldview teaching, I felt equipped to share the gospel and answer their questions. In one day, I was able to have conversations in four different classes with four different friends—three of which made the decision to follow Jesus.”
Kaya is one of many Connection Pointe students who has led friends to Christ, spoken up for Jesus, and even led public prayer times in their schools.
What God did through one of these students reminds us why this vision matters: the Next Generation is already leading, already influencing, and already expanding the Kingdom—
Nancy has seen God’s faithfulness in ways she never expected. After the loss of her husband, God provided for her in remarkable ways and deepened her trust in Him. Along the way, Nancy committed to generosity and faithful prayer—especially for her children and grandchildren. What began as a simple invitation for her family to attend church on Easter turned into something far more meaningful as she began to see God moving in the Next Generation.

SECONDARY GOAL UPDATE
We set out to unlock and unleash $35 million over two years to expand Christ’s Kingdom. Because of your generosity and an unexpected $5 million gift, we exceeded the $35 million, and our pledges total $41 million. Based on what God is doing, we believe we can expand that to $44 million over this next year. These additional funds will be used for the Avon building and every other component of our one fund vision.
*Note: Even with these generous gifts, the Avon building will still require a $13 million loan. Any increased giving this year can help to reduce that loan amount.

The mission of Breakthrough is still unfolding.
Breakthrough has always been a discipleship initiative; it’s been a call to surrender. A call for every person at Connection Pointe to place Christ above all and trust Him to bring transformation in our lives, our families, our church, and our world. From the beginning, this movement has been about deepening our faith, growing in obedience, and joining together to see what God can do through a fully surrendered people.
God is already moving among us. He’s calling hearts back to Him, igniting faith in the Next Generation, and expanding our reach to new communities. We’ve seen walls come down and doors open, stories of salvation, baptism, and life change that remind us of His power at work. Every act of generosity, every step of faith, and every moment of surrender is part of this greater Kingdom story.
As we move forward, we do so with confident faith. We believe God is not finished—He’s preparing us for even greater breakthrough. The steps we take today will impact generations to come, building a legacy of faith that reaches far beyond our walls. Together we remain steadfast and expectant, trusting God who began this good work to carry it on until it’s complete.

GENEROSITY JOURNEY
Generosity is one of the clearest ways we live out our faith. This journey is designed to help us keep growing as followers of Jesus by viewing money not as an idol, but as a tool for His Kingdom. It focuses on the condition of our hearts, transforming us more into His likeness as we continue trusting Him in every area of life. Each step represents ongoing growth in a lifestyle of generosity, surrender, and worship.
INITIAL GIVER
An Initial Giver is someone who decides to give for the first time out of a response to God’s Word about giving. This is someone who chooses to give something and trust God and the leaders of the Church with this gift. They experience the initial joy of putting Jesus’ words into action.
CONSISTENT GIVER
A Consistent Giver is someone who decides to give something and give it consistently to exercise the discipline of giving as a disciple of Jesus. Often, someone who chooses to make an online recurring gift will be someone who is learning the joy of consistency. Non-online givers can also be consistent givers; it just requires more discipline. They experience the joy of excelling in this grace of giving.
PRIORITY GIVER
A Priority Giver understands the pre-eminence of Christ and that He is before all things – that all things were created by Him, for Him, through Him, and to Him. This giver places such a significant priority on their giving that it drives their spending and saving, as opposed to their spending and saving driving their giving. They experience the freedom of serving “one master” and declaring Jesus is first.

SURRENDERED GIVER
A Surrendered Giver is someone who recognizes that Christ surrendered His whole self for us, and therefore we desire to offer our entire selves to Him in love. This giver would say, “My giving is not just changing my spending and saving. It’s also changing me!” They also look at what they’re not giving away and ask, “Is it surrendered too?” This informs how they use everything they’ve been blessed and entrusted with – whether through direct monetary giving or a God-honoring use of an existing resource like a home or vehicle.

ETERNAL GIVER
An Eternal Giver is someone who sees the eternal impact of their giving – on them and on others – not just the immediate programs and ministries it helps accomplish. This giver has been captivated by the knowledge that the more they are led to “do good, to be generous and ready to share,” the more they “take hold of that which is truly life.” This person looks at what they have and asks, “Am I stewarding this for God’s Kingdom or for me?” This encourages them to keep growing! They make all decisions (big purchases, savings, giving, relationships, areas of service) in light of how it will affect their eternal impact.

Take a moment to pray and ask God how He is leading you to step out in faith. This isn’t about pressure or obligation; it’s about trusting Him with your heart and taking one small step toward generosity. Together, we’re seeing lives changed, including our own, as we place Christ above all.
Finish Strong
If you made a commitment when Breakthrough began, we want to thank you for the faith and generosity you’ve already shown. God has been using your obedience to change lives, strengthen families, and grow His church. Your step of faith has made a real difference. As you continue your journey, we encourage you to stay faithful to what God first placed on your heart. Take time to reflect on all He’s done in your life since making that commitment. Ask Him how to lead you to keep trusting Him. Finishing strong is not just about fulfilling a promise, it’s about deepening your faith and celebrating what God has done through declaring Christ above all.
Increase
Many of you have seen God move powerfully since making your Breakthrough commitment. You’ve experienced His faithfulness, His provision, and His joy in giving. As you look back and see how He has worked in your life, you may sense Him calling you to take another step of faith.
What would “Christ Above All” look like now? If God is leading you to increase your commitment, we want to encourage you to follow His prompting. Every step of generosity deepens your trust in Him and multiplies the impact of what He’s doing through our church. Pray and ask God what your next step might be. Trust that He will continue to provide everything you need as you respond in faith.
