We kicked off December with an invite to support our district families at the Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency’s Cozy Community Event. On Saturday, December 6 , we spent the day at the Dolgeville Fire House, connecting with families about all the resources being a part of a connected district provides. Connected is proud to support families across our Connected districts through our Annual Holiday Assistance Project. Once again this year, the Connected Herkimer County school districts came together to host a special day where local families were welcomed to “shop” for their children in a joyful, festive setting. Parents and caregivers had the opportunity to select meaningful gifts they knew their children would love, making the holiday season a little brighter for them. Families also received food boxes, ensuring everyone who attended left with both full hearts and full hands. This event was a wonderful reminder of the power of community, generosity, and coming together to support one another during the holidays.

PetZotics came into the High School HUB with a fun array of animals that students and teachers were able to engage in. Among friends that visited included a ferret, snake, tarantula, and crested gecko. What a hit in the HUB! We can’t wait for them to return.
