Smart Key – Features – Quick Guide This guide relates to software version 1.0.697. Please note the program will update every time it is launched on a PC with internet connection. ! Only install the program after you have connected the Conlan desktop reader. You will be able to run the program after this without the reader but it must be present during installation. From the first screen click the + to create a user. Present a card to the reader to add if required and enter a PIN. Users may have Card – PIN or both

Remember to save when complete Next choose backup cards from the right hand ICON, name the card and choose type - M1000 or CM100. If you only have one clone card there will only be one option under “Clone User List”. This enables you to copy the valid users across readers without reselecting those you wish to authorise.
You will then be presented with a screen allowing you to change options depending on the type of reader you selected. Options include Master & Servicecode change, LED states, OC time and sensitivity.
When you return to the users screen, a check box indicates the list each user appears on.
