32ND ANNUAL

MERVYN L. & STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP CLASSIC

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 32nd Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

On behalf of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), we are honored to welcome you to the 32nd Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic.

This annual fundraiser supports the CBC Spouses General Education Scholarship Program, which directly empowers promising young Black scholars across the country. We’re thrilled to return to the beautiful Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa, and Marina in Cambridge, Maryland for another unforgettable weekend of connection, camaraderie, and commitment to our shared mission.

For more than three decades, this Classic has helped open doors to higher education for students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and a heart for service. To date, CBCF has awarded over $11 million in scholarships, and we continue to see our scholars excel in their fields, uplift their communities, and carry forward the legacies of leaders like Stephanie Tubbs Jones and Mervyn L. Jones.

The impact of your support is real. Our scholars are not just tomorrow’s leaders—they are change agents today, working to build a more just, inclusive, and equitable society.

We extend our deepest thanks to our sponsors, whose ongoing investment helps make this work possible. Your generosity fuels opportunities, breaks barriers, and affirms the brilliance and potential of our students.

To each guest, partner, and champion in this space—thank you. Your presence here is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we show up for our young people.

We look forward to a dynamic and meaningful weekend at the 32nd Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic. Enjoy every moment—you are helping change lives.

With gratitude,

Reverend William Coleman Chair, CBC Spouses
