School: Pine Crest School in Boca Raton Daughter of: Hilary & Matthew Rosenthal Granddaughter of: Francine & Roy Kaplan Hobbies & Interests: Playing tennis, reading, singing, acting and drawing Mitzvah Project: The Stress Box-Madeline wants to help young people cope with their anxiety and stress. She collected anxiety-reducing items and calming tools such as fidget spinners, stress balls, slinkys, putty, slime, and paper and pencils. Her siblings helped her organize them into pencil boxes so that all of the stress-reducing objects could be in one convenient, portable place for those students or young adults overwhelmed with anxiety. She distributed The Stress Box to local school guidance counselors, school principals and students. She has received a great deal of positive feedback. Many people have expressed how often The Stress Box is used throughout the day, and they find it to be beneficial for reducing stress and anxiety.
