Members of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation’s (CTUIR) Senior and Junior Youth Leadership Councils take their oaths of office on Dec. 3 at the Nixyáawii Governance Center.

The councils teach area CTUIR youth about tribal governance, offer them a voice in the CTUIR government and to network with their peers as well as develop leadership skills.
