MISSION – If Ballot Measure 101 fails, hundreds of tribal members will not be eligible for health care insurance under the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) and may need to go back to a “life or limb” coverage, according to Sandra Sampson, interim Executive Director at Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center. Ballot Measure 101 is a referral to Oregon voters to approve a plan to pay for the Medicaid budget and stabilize health insurance premiums.
