Dylan Holloway became a Condors household name last season as rookie notching 22 points in 33 games and adding another four points in five Calder Cup Playoff games. Later that season, he would join the Edmonton Oilers and made his NHL debut during the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the Oilers advanced to the Western Conference Finals.

He joined the Condors in Coachella Valley and on one of his first shifts, scored a goal in his return to the lineup. The reunion was short lived though as Holloway suffered a shoulder injury in the second period and went to Edmonton to begin a lengthy rehabilitation process. That process ended last week as Holloway returned after a month away to rejoin the Condors for the stretch run.

This year, Holloway made the Oilers out of training camp and played nearly five months with Edmonton, before being assigned to the Condors in February.

“What I see from Dylan is a player who wants to play games,” said Condors Head Coach Colin Chaulk. “I see a hungry individual who wants to get back to the next level and help the Condors succeed in the process.” Holloway scored the game-winner in San Jose on Sunday as the Condors got a big split on the road and then scored the team’s lone goal off the rush on Wednesday in Coachella Valley.

“I feel good,” Holloway said. “Being able to play big minutes and be an important contributor is big for me.

It’s a great group of guys here who all want to win and it is a fun environment to be around.” His teammates are excited to have him too, knowing that the first round pick injects a needed element into the Condors lineup.

“I think anytime you can add a player of Hollsy’s character and skillset, it’s definitely good to have,” said Greg McKegg. “He obviously is a talented player with a bright future and he makes our lineup better.”

Holloway will be a key part of a Condors team solidifying their playoff positioning down the stretch as the team plays two crucial contests against the Tucson Roadrunners this weekend.
