UNIFORM POLICY

The way we dress is a form of “rhetoric” and communicates a message.

Firm Foundations Academy Northwest requires students to wear uniforms from an approved list Our uniform standards reflect the conviction that no activity, even dress, is a neutral endeavor. All conduct, including how we dress, should be done to the glory of God, as loving service to our neighbor, reflecting His goodness, truth and beauty The principles behind our school uniform standards include:

We aim to model that dress matters and can promote excellence. The uniform helps create an orderly academic workplace so students are better able to concentrate on their studies

The uniform allows godly authority to set modest and appropriate dress standards

The uniform reminds us that we are part of a larger community committed to common goals
