Theme Overview At Camp Discovery, kids learn that God has a plan and a purpose for us, right now, right where we are. God enables us to serve others through vocations. But what is a vocation? Good question! Since God already meets all our earthly and eternal needs, He has called us to serve our neighbors. In the words of Luther, God doesn’t need your good works, but your neighbor does! In our unique vocations, we speak God’s words of love and serve as His hands and feet to provide for our neighbors. Explore Bible truths that point to Jesus, our True North, and discover how He blesses us with courage and wisdom for our everyday journeys. It’s time to journey down the trails of Camp Discovery and step out in faith—guided by God’s Word and led by Jesus’ love! We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19.
