Interview with Henry, En-Laye, Rynie Nutithawat’s family On
the first day I visited the school 11 years ago, what impressed me the most was the IB Curriculum with a trilingual program at Concordian. The IB curriculum extends the freedom of learning, broadens the knowledge and gives these students the ability to adapt to the furious changes of the world. Being a trilingual student gives much more opportunity to our children. We can observe the noticeable development of the language in our children. Our 3 children are growing up with a unique character. They are confident but not aggressive. They are mature but humble and listen to other people. They are kind, good listeners and respect the rules. I believe that is taught by the school. Day by day, they are molded by Concordian’s mission and culture and that makes my children become who they are now. We spend many hours at school. As our children are on sports teams, we are used to arriving at school at 6.00 AM. and leaving at 6.00 PM. We see the maids, gardeners and security guards who know our kids’ names and we feel very safe. Choosing the right school is like choosing a second home. There are many international schools in Thailand with different curricula and systems but Concordian gives our family more than that. At the end of the day, our kids tell us stories from school. Some stories are fun. Some are challenging and not easy to deal with but I have never heard them say that they did not want to go to school. This is the life we gave as a gift to our children.

Finally, thank you Concordian. You not only give an excellent education but also another home for our children. They are growing up in a great environment that makes them strong and ready to be adults in every aspect.
จากวันแรกที่มาเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียน ผ่านมา 11 ปี จำ � ได้ ว ่ า สิ ่ งที ่ ทำ�ให้สนใจโรงเรียนในครั้งแรก คือคำ�ว่าระบบ IB และโรงเรียน 3 ภาษา ด้วยความตั้งใจที่คิดว่าระบบ IB จะช่วยให้ลูกมีความอิสระ ทางการเรียนรู้ รู้รอบด้านและสามารถมีทักษะที่ปรับตัวเข้ากับ การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่รวดเร็วของโลกทุกวันนี้ได้ และการเป็นเด็ก 3 ภาษาที่จะสามารถสร้างโอกาสในชีวิตให้กับพวกเค้า จากวันนั้น ถึงวันนี้ ต้องบอกเลยว่า ครอบครัวเราได้เห็นพัฒนาการของลูก ที่มากกว่าแค่เรื่องการศึกษาหรือภาษา เด็ ก ๆ 3 คนเติ บ โตขึ ้ น มามี เ อกลั ก ษณ์ เ ฉพาะตั ว ที ่ ช ั ด เจน มี ความกล้าแสดงออกแต่ไม่ก้าวร้าว มีความคิดเป็นของตัวเอง แต่ รับฟังผู้อ ื่น มีนำ�้ ใจและมองทุก เหตุก ารณ์ที่เข้ามาอย่ า งไม่ ป ิ ด โอกาสตัวเอง พร้อมเป็นผู้ฟังและเคารพในกติกา เชื่อว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้ เป็นสิ่งที่เด็ก ๆ ได้รับมาจากโรงเรียน วันละเล็ก ละน้ อ ยผ่ า น การสอนในโรงเรียน จนแสดงออกมาเป็นบุคลิกที่คนรอบตัวสัมผัส ได้ ทุกวันเราใช้เวลาอยู่ในรั้วโรงเรียนน่าจะนับชั่วโมงได้ว่ามากที่สุด ครอบครัวหนึ่ง เราถึงโรงเรียนตั้งแต่ 6 โมงเช้า กลับบ้านเกือบ 6 โมงเย็น เพราะลูกชาย 2 คนเป็นนักกีฬา เราเห็นตั้งแต่แม่บ้าน คนสวน รปภ. ที่ใส่ใจทักทาย จำ�ชื่อเด็กๆ ได้แทบทุกคน จนทำ�ให้ เรารู้สึกว่า คำ�ว่าการเลือกโรงเรียนที่ดี คือเลือกบ้านหลังที่ 2 ให้ ลูก เป็นแบบนี้นี่เอง เพราะวันนี้โรงเรียนนานาชาติในเมืองไทย มีมากมาย หลายระบบ หลายรูปแบบ หลายมาตราฐาน มากกว่า การศึกษาที่ดีที่ลูกได้แล้ว เราสังเกตว่า ทุกเย็นเด็กๆ จะเล่าเรื่อง เวลาอยู่ในโรงเรียนให้ฟัง บางวันสนุก บางวันเรื่องง่าย บางวัน เรื่องท้าทาย บางวันบ่นว่ายาก แต่ไม่มีวันไหนเลยที่เด็กๆ จะไม่ อยากมาโรงเรียน มันคงเป็นชีวิตวัยเรียนที่มีความสุข ที่พ่อแม่ อย่างเราอยากมอบเป็นของขวัญในชีวิตให้ลูก สุดท้ายขอขอบคุณโรงเรียน ที่นอกจากจะมีระบบการเรี ยนที ่ ได้ มาตราฐานและยังเป็นบ้านอีกหลังให้พวกเขาได้เติบโตท่ามกลาง สิ่งแวดล้อมที่อบอุ่น หล่อหลอมพวกเขาให้ค่อยๆ แข็งแกร่งเพื่อ พร้อมออกมาเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่มีภูมิคุ้มกันในอนาคตที่ดีในทุกๆ ด้าน
