Grade 8 Exchange

No. 2 High School of East China Normal University

From March 28th to April 10th, 2026, students and teachers from the International Division of No. 2 High School of East China Normal University Shanghai visited Concordian International School for a two-week exchange program. Throughout the exchange, students from both schools learned, collaborated, and shared experiences together, building lasting friendships while developing a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.

During their stay, students from No. 2 High School of ECNU fully engaged in classroom learning at Concordian, working closely with Concordian students through collaborative discussions, projects, and daily academic activities. Beyond the classroom, they embraced campus life by participating in a variety of experiences, including sports and Songkran celebrations, gaining firsthand insight into Concordian’s diverse and multicultural community. One of the highlights of the festivities was the Tai Chi and street dance performances by the visiting students and teachers, which left a lasting impression on the Concordian community.

The exchange group also had the opportunity to explore several of Thailand’s renowned cultural and commercial destinations, including the Grand Palace, ICONSIAM, Jurassic Park, and Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. These visits allowed students to deepen their understanding of Thailand’s history, architecture, traditions, and local culture.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the partnership between the two schools. Over the past decade, both schools have worked hand in hand in the spirit of “Learning Together, Shaping Tomorrow,” creating meaningful opportunities for students to broaden their global perspectives, strengthen cross-cultural communication skills, and grow into globally minded citizens.
