High School

Shecares

We are SheCares Club, a service club formed by a group of students dedicated to improving women’s health, focusing on educating young girls on menstruation and addressing period poverty. We aim to raise awareness about menstrual health issues and reduce the stigma surrounding periods in both our school and school in rural areas. We are committed to creating a more informed, supportive, and inclusive environment for menstrual health inside and outside of school. Currently, our goal is to raise awareness about menstruation and promote better understanding of menstrual health through posters and our social media page. We also aim to reduce period poverty in Thailand, especially in rural and underserved areas, by donating sanitary pads and supporting students in need.

As a newly established club, we have already recently installed two sanitary pad boxes in our secondary school bathrooms located in the SAT building and P building bathrooms to provide high school students easier access to menstrual products and support them during their period. The two boxes are currently under a trial period where we are gathering feedback to better improve the accessibility of our boxes. We believe that we would be able to expand this project and install boxes in other areas of the school, for instance the middle school building after the one month trial period has concluded.

With love,

Kindergarten Smiles

Kindergarten Smiles is a club dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for children through service,

creativity, and community engagement. Over the years, the club has continued projects that bring happiness and support to local communities, while carrying on the traditions started by the Class of 2026.

One of the most memorable experiences this year was our 3 days and 2 nights trip to โรงเรียนวัดสง่างาม in Prachin Buri. During the trip, club members worked together to repaint the playground and surrounding areas to create a brighter and more welcoming environment for the children. From painting court lines under the hot sun to adding colorful artwork and designs, everyone contributed their time and effort. Although the work was tiring, watching the playground come to life made the experience rewarding for all of us.

CIS STEM is a student-led club focused on applying science, engineering, and entrepreneurship to real-world problems through innovation projects and international competitions. This year, the club expanded from small-scale engineering activities into a collaborative innovation team that combines research, sustainability, business strategy, and technology.

One of the club’s major projects is Plastic Gobblers, a service -based sustainability system that uses mechanical preprocessing and waxworms to reduce plastic waste while generating usable compost for urban green spaces. Through this project, CIS STEM participated in multiple international innovation and business competitions, including Envirotech, the Conrad Challenge, and the Blue Ocean Competition. The team was also recognized on the Conrad Challenge’s official Innovators List.

Not only do we explore science based competitions, our club also explored finance and entrepreneurship through the UC Berkeley Stock Pitch Competition, where students developed and presented investment analyses on public companies using real financial and market data.

Throughout the year, CIS STEM encouraged students to combine technical knowledge with problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills. The club continues to grow as a space where students can transform ideas into practical solutions with real-world impact.

The most meaningful part of the trip was spending time with the children. We played games, shared meals, and created unforgettable memories together. One especially heartwarming moment was treating the children to KFC and seeing how happy and excited they were. Their smiles reminded us of the true purpose of our club.

We would also like to sincerely thank the Class of 2026 and all Kindergarten Smiles secretariats for organizing this trip. Their dedication and leadership made this experience possible. This trip allowed us not only to give back to the community, but also to grow closer as a club while creating memories we will cherish for years to come.

MUN

Hey guys! It’s Kirin here with a few MUN related messages.

The weekend of October 25th and 26th marked the fourth iteration of Concordian International School Model United Nations. Of course, I could go on and on about how we had over 300 students attending as Chairs or Delegates, or how participants gained insight into contemporary geopolitical events, and developed public speaking or critical thinking skills. But we all know; at the end of the day, it is the people we meet who make these conferences so memorable.

To quote the Secretariat of CISMUN I, “Model United Nations conferences are quite complex endeavors. There are many variables to consider, a great deal of organization and communication, and a seemingly endless number of people to consult about different aspects of the event.”

Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the CISMUN IV Student Management Team: in particular, our previous Secretariat General, Burger, and our advisor, Mr Kyle.

Flourish Foundation

Flourish Foundation was founded in 2026, with our co-presidents being Vera and Ping Ping, and our vice-president is Gail from grade 10. Our objective is to support underprivileged Thai youths in preparation for their teenage years. We aim to address the problem in which underprivileged Thai youths are particularly susceptible to social issues such as bullying, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, and violence.

Our first club trip took place on April 26, we went to

to host a workshop on the topic of “Understanding our Thoughts and Emotions” with kids aged 7-13. One activity we did was “Kintsugi Metaphor Heart”, where a heart shaped paper is ripped up and reassembled back together with glue. Colored markers are then used to draw over the torn lines, along with adding any desired decorations. This activity represents the journey of healing, and embracing our emotional scars that shape us into a new version of ourselves

…As well as extend an invitation to CISMUN V, which will be on October 24th and 25th this year! Whether you attend as a delegate, SMT member, or both (preferably!), we welcome you with open arms. We hope the committees this year excite y’all. Topics include the use of biochemical weapons in DISEC, ethical international guidelines for gene-editing in WHO, and the global football development inequality and distribution in FIFA.

Ok, I’ve said both things. The floor is now open to any and all motions. The Secretariat–Ken, Becky, and I–highly encourage all delegates to register for CISMUN V.

Yours truly,

Kirin Saan Thavikulwat

CISMUN V Secretariat-Genera

Food For All

Food For All (FFA) is excited to begin a new chapter under the leadership of Matt, Pingping, and Diya. This year, we are proud to announce our partnership with the Scholars Of Sustenance (SOS) Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families in need. Through this partnership, FFA hopes to make a more direct and meaningful impact on our community.. Beyond fundraising, we also want to encourage students to become more aware of the issue of hunger and how small actions can create real change. We believe that helping others should not just be an occasional activity, but something that becomes part of our school culture.

Recently, members of FFA participated in a service trip with SOS at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2026, one of the largest food and beverage trade exhibitions in Asia. During the event, students worked alongside the SOS team to rescue surplus food from exhibitors and vendors who wished to donate their products rather than let them go to waste. The food collected will be redistributed by SOS to communities and families in need across Thailand.

Concordian students played an important role throughout the event, particularly by helping bridge communication gaps with Chinese-speaking vendors. Their language skills allowed the team to connect with more exhibitors and secure additional food donations. The Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) team expressed their appreciation for the students’ efforts and were especially pleased with how effectively they helped overcome language barriers, contributing to the success of the food rescue operation.

As new leaders of FFA, we are excited to bring fresh ideas, collaborate with more students, and create projects that have a lasting impact. We look forward to working together with the school community and SOS Foundation to help make a difference this year.

Debate Club

The Debate Club is a tournament-based club that pushes students to think critically, communicate with clarity, and defend their claims with logic and reasoning. Through intensive training sessions and competitive rounds, students learn to analyze global issues, construct persuasive arguments, and think beyond their own biases.

Throughout the year, Concordian debaters have participated in various prestigious tournaments, including AWSDC, TNMDC, THSDC, and many more. These competitions challenge students to think on their feet, collaborate effectively with teammates, and engage with a wide range of political, social, and ethical issues. In many rounds, debaters are required to defend perspectives different from their own, helping them develop empathy, adaptability, and a broader understanding of real-world problems.

Beyond competition, Debate Club also fosters a strong and supportive community. Members spend countless hours preparing cases, practicing speeches, and supporting one another through victories and setbacks alike. Through these shared experiences, students form meaningful friendships and connections with debaters from schools across Thailand and beyond. Ultimately, Debate Club is not only about winning arguments, but also about becoming more informed, openminded, and confident individuals.
