The Water Tower — Pub | Design| Build | Furnishings

Brief Our client scheduled the maintenance of this site just before the start of Spring. We were briefed to give the pub a fresh and modern look by refurbishing the bar, trade area, WC’s and updating their furniture. The garden was tired and uninviting and required some TLC to make it a revenue boosting, child-friendly area.

Result The Water Tower is now a family friendly pub offering a relaxed dining experience with plenty of food and amazing drinks to choose from.

Attractive internal decorations combined with a high-contrast colour scheme helps distinguish the drinking and eating areas allowing the pub to appeal to a wide range of customers wanting different experiences. It has a fantastic beer garden with a great children’s play area to entertain families.

Boat & Horses — Design & Build /Furnishings

Brief When the internal refurbishment of The Boat & Horses bar and lounge areas took place, the pub was to remain partially open, trading in the 145 sq meter function room. The lessees also lived on site, so access and security were key. The renewal of the pub needed to focus on creating more seating, refreshing the décor and lessees living quarters and improving the back-bar fittings and servery.

Result The end product ticked all of the boxes for our client and allowed them to remain open for trade throughout the renovation. We maintained its authentic home-from-home character but modernised its look making it more capable of managing increased custom. The newly built high-curved seating booths created the perfect area to seat private gatherings or large groups.

The White Hart — Pub | Design| Build | Furnishings

Brief Star Pubs & Bars briefed us to carefully update the back-bar, bar and its surrounding trade areas, kitchen, lounge and garden of The White Hart, all within a 2-month period. Being located in a suburb of Sheffield it was imperative to create a laid-back atmosphere that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Result Starting on the trade areas, we built new fixed seating booths and updated the furniture, flooring and lighting. Beautifully decorated and now featuring a children’s play area, the beer garden perfectly complements the family friendly vibes that wash through this venue and offers a cosy, laid back place to eat dinner with the children.

The Crafty Teller — Craft Beer Bar & Kitchen | Build

Brief Concorde BGW were bought in to carry out the build-works on the former Irish themed bar Finnbars to convert it to the Crafty Teller. The refurbishment aimed to turn the pub into a stylish set-up, with an emphasis on food from morning to night, barista style coffee, cocktails and craft ales.

Result The £225,000 makeover transformed the pub it into a plush, family-friendly bar and kitchen.

The Crafty Teller was remodelled to improve the flow and to allow for a new cocktail bar and deli counter. The site is packed with new furniture and head turning graffiti that is sure to feature on visitor’s social media.
