Preschool
Learn through play with the Parks & Recreation Preschool Program. Your child will spend the day with highly trained and experienced teachers, doing arts & crafts, playing games, and developing fine and gross motor skills. Make new friends, learn routines, explore nature, but most importantly: play while our teachers assist in personal, social, and emotional development! The City of Concord Preschool program was established in 1991 and has served over 6,500 families since its establishment. Some of our teachers have been with the program for over 25 years!

Donna and Victoria will be teaching our 4 year olds at the Centre Concord location, they both hale from England, and have a combined 20+ years of teaching preschool between them. This class is bilingual, meaning you will be learning Spanish and having fun with your child. You will be able to create art, and have a Spanish story time. Knowledge of Spanish is not required. $20.00 material fee due on the first day to instructor for art materials and take home Zumbini Bundle that includes Zumbini Music Codes (access to 20 original songs used in class) and Zumbini Bundles, which include the music codes and a corresponding songbook and plush doll. Tiny Tuesday Hikes
Ages: 4-5 Join in the hiking fun! Each month has a special theme and hikes will go off the trail into the tall grass. Some trails are steep so strollers are not recommended, and each child will require a caregiver's attendance. Important Insects
Bugs are not creepy, they are important insects. During this hike we will learn about the importance of different insects in Lime Ridge Open Space. Along the way we will follow the life cycle of butterflies, discover gall wasps, and learn about native bees.

Seed Fishing!
During this hike we will learn about native versus introduced plants using specialized seed fishing equipment-a pair of socks on a string! We'll learn about different kinds of seeds and how they are distributed throughout Lime Ridge Open Space.

Migration Journeys
During this hike we will learn about animals that migrate through the Lime Ridge Opens Space and use it as a rest stop along their trip. We'll look for butterflies and birds as we act out the seasonal cycle of migrating animals.

Ages: 3.5-4 Chase the ball! Tot-Soccer helps kids learn to be part of a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Realizing this can be difficult for young children.
